Breakfast was typically Italian and plentiful. With eggs if we wanted. The host was eager to please us to the utmost

Not the host fault but the restaurants on the street below the room were, some nights, very noisy in the evening. But this is the culture! The host made up the room every day and was always available for advise. She was absolutely charming.

We slept in a room in host's house, with our own separate bedroom. She is a very nice, warm lady. While she does not speak English (and we sadly don't speak Italian), she comes prepared and we had no trouble communicating with her, and we had some nice chit-chats during breakfast. The room looks really nice and has some interesting decoration. The breakfast was simple, but we were satisfied.

During our stay there was some celebration on the next street with a lot of fireworks late in the night, so we woke up in the middle of the night, though obviously this is not the property's fault.

Very good location, close to everywhere you need to go to in the city. The host is very welcoming and very nice. She also made us breakfast. We did not speak Italian and she did not speak English/French so the back and forth using google translate was very fun! Definitely recommend!

A bit too much noise from the street when trying to sleep

The location was amazing, right near the station, main streets and the seafront- plenty of places to eat and drink and quick links to ferries for boat trips and buses/trains for pompeii/vesuvius The room was beautiful and incredibly well cared for, it was exceptionally tidy and Paola changed the laundry and tidied everyday which was much appreciated! The bed was very comfy, a nice balcony and the bathroom had everything you could need. Paola was an incredible host, very friendly and kind, she really looked after my friend and I- from making breakfast for us everyday and putting it in a bag so we could eat it while we were out- to calling the information desk for the ferries so we could visit Positano, nothing was too much trouble and she was genuinely interested in what we did during the day and we loved our time here, will definitely be staying again and recommending this house!

Nothing! We loved it!

The room was very very clean. The bed was comfortable and the hot water was there. Paola was very kind. I thought i slept in my Grandma's house back in Greece. The house is in the center of the city and within 4-5 minutes walk you are in the center square. We were welcomed with a shot of limoncello that was actually very nice.

The room we stayed in is actual the hosts apartment. To go your room you get in the host's house you pass through the kitchen and the living room and then you reach the master bedroom witch is the room. The host also sleeps in the same house in a different room. It was kinda weird. The breakfast consists of bagged cakes and things. We expected to have something homemade. Espresso was great though.

Paola is wonderful. She made the perfect hostess.

My one mistake was not reading closely enough that there was no elevator. And In Via Roma is on the top floor. We had a couple of very heavy bags and the walk up the stairs was pretty challenging. But of course... that was our own fault.

The stay in Paolas room was just perfect for us. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Paola strikes the perfect balance to make you feel at home and to also give you the space you may need. The room was even nicer than on the pictures and the location is in short walking distance of everything you may want to explore in the beautiful city of Salerno. We would be happy to come back any moment. Grazie mille, Paola!

The lady who rents one room at her apartment for guests at this b&b is a very nice and polite person who is genuinely interested in her guests and wants to be sure everybody enjoys their stay at her place. It was great to listen to her stories and she gave us many useful travel tips about the places to visit nearby. We spoke Italian so there was not any language barrier between us. The room where the guests stay is beautiful, clean and the bed is very comfortable, the lady also tidies up the room on daily basis when the guests are outside, so everything is in perfect order.

It would be convenient to have a small fridge in the room for guests specially in the summer time as the kitchen (where the simple breakfast is served in the mornings) is not available for the guests. If you arrive to your room late in the evening/night after dinner you may have a feeling that you are disturbing the lady and her family as you must walk to your room through their living room.

It was homely, the hoist welcomed us and made us feel so welcome, and even gave us some home made lemoncelo to taste and it was beautiful, best sleep I've had since the start of my trip.

Nothing it couldn't be more perfect

This is a room with private ensuite in the hosts home. Paola is a very caring and lovely host. As we do not speak Italian we had lots of fun translating back and forth. It would have been nice to stay longer. It was lovely to learn about people living in the city we were visiting.
