We spent one week at the hotel and everything was great. The apartment size is perfect for a family of 3 or 4 members, small kitchen having everything you may need and also very comfortable beds and space to socialize. It is a little old, but well loved and carefully maintained. Room was very clean and I would like to thank the cleaning ladies for the wonderful care they showed during our entire stay! We paid for breakfast and it was an excellent choice, plenty of options, everything fresh and tasty including a great fresh orange juice and wonderful fruit salad. Personally I loved the location, very close to the park in a quiet residential area, many small shops in walking distance and some bigger streets with lots of restaurant choices. Public transportation is just at the entrance to the hotel and you are 25 min walking from Opera/ City Hall and almost the same to main train station/ mall.

There is nothing I did not like, however if you book you may want to consider it is a good walk away from the middle of city center. For us was ok as we did not want to be in a very busy place and made us feel more like locals instead of turists, but it is something to consider. Also with these great rooms is a perfect hotel for families with small children which can make breakfast a little bit of a noisy affair, especially when they discover the pancake machine 😜. I do have one recommendation: for me breakfast is missing some fresh vegetables: fresh tomatoes or cucumbers would be a great addition to the buffet and the multiple fruit options.

The first room was quite large, well-equipped and comfortable with kitchen facilities (including coffee maker, dishwasher and fridge, dishes and cutlery). The bed was large and comfortable with very good pillows. The bathroom was roomy too, with a good shower and the usual facilities. When we were upgraded to a suite, it was even better - larger, with separate kitchen and separate bedroom, a dining table and chairs plus separate armchairs in the living room area. The staff are all excellent - helpful, attentive and friendly.

Storage space is limited in both the room and the suite. Lighting in the sleeping area is somewhat limited and awkward to use. The restaurant/bar is not open on weekends which is unfortunate when our stay was mostly over a weekend. The big issue arose when a leak developed in the bathroom, causing water to drip heavily from the ceiling onto the toilet, rendering it unusable. To their enormous credit, the hotel immediately upgraded us to the suite since the original room could not be used, so it seems churlish to mention it except to praise the hotel for reacting so positively.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Overall place was great.

There were ants in the kitchen and the sink in the bathroom was leaking.

A good 30 minute walking distance from the train station. Once you learn how to navigate the transportation system in Lyon, however, the distance is acceptable. Few restaurants in the immediate area though some can be found in the vicinity; you only need to do your research. One reception desk agent did not respect our wishes. I will email management about the issue.

-The room was comfortable and spacious and had everything you need for a pleasant stay. - It was very clean, including the bathroom and the towels that were spotless, which is often the most unpleasant part of a stay. In this case was in perfect state. - Breakfast was varied and there was a pancake machine which the kids loved. - Staff very attentive and friendly. 10/10, we will definitely come back.

- It is very well located, 5 minutes from the Parc de la Tête d'Or. However, it is far from the most touristic area, so it is important to take this into account.

It was a great size for the three of us, each had our own bed and space (one slept on a comfortable rollaway. The kitchen allowed us to bring a light breakfast and sometimes light dinner in after a long day out. The balconies were nice as well. Despite location on a busy street, it was quiet with doors closed. The large park nearby was nice, cafe by the lake (which the staff could have told us about!)

The one balcony door did not close firmly. We mentioned it on day two but it wasn’t fixed. This wouldn’t have been a problem except it was extremely windy our last night. I had to push the TV furniture in front of it! My other suggestion would be for the front desk staff to be more specific about their directions to nearby cafes and the Metro. We wasted time the first two days until we figured out the area.

The staff at this hotel were very helpful and the room was perfect for a family. We could have the teen in a seperate room with the sofa bed, so we were all happy for the four nights we were staying at the Warwick Astrid! Great to have the kitchen facilities too. More like an apartment than a hotel in a way, so the best of both worlds! The hotel’s location was a bit further out of the main city but that suited us well and being close to the park was lovely. The construction work outside makes the area look a little messy but the hotel and its facilities are great and had everything we needed including a free laundry - just take your own washing powder. Easy ten min walk to a couple of metro options to get to the other parts of the city we wanted to visit.

Car park was very tight with an SUV but handy for the one night we hired a car.

Clean, good wifi.

Our own wine glass has gone (Broken? Stolen?)and no marks or apologises for that. Not big deal, but no second stay here and recommendations to others. NB! Only one knife in kitchen! And even this one was for bread. Also you should klean the kitchen yourself or pay 60 EUR. There was no information about that while booking.

To be honest, we are very satisfied. The room was spacious with one private bedroom, and the others could sleep in the living room. The interior design was luxurious and comfortable, making us feel at home here. There was also a kitchen where we could prepare meals. The location was strategic, and it only took a short walk to reach the bus stop. There were also many minimarkets around the hotel, which made shopping convenient for us. And the staff are also very nice.

The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped to prepare breakfast. The rooms were clean with enough space around the beds. We had a box garage for our car, but it is a bit of a lottery, since it cannot be reserved. The hotel is very well located in the city, right next to the park and the city center is only a short walk.

Breakfast is really expensive. This was by far the most expensive i have seen in a hotel until now.
