Nice clean well heated room with a comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and a good supply of hot water, almost instant! Good choices at buffet breakfast with both hot and cold food available. Nice coffee too! Staff were very polite and helpful. Will stay again!

Water in room but no bottle opener as it had a crimped cap. Was advised it screwed off but it didn't! No tea or drink making facilities which was a disappointment rather than a travesty!

The location was fabulous - a short walk to many places of interest and restaurants. The hotel was cute and quirky with it's rooster\ hen theme. Breakfast was exceptional and the service was great. The whole family was happy to have stumbled upon this hidden gem as a very last minute booking on our way through the region.

Loved this stay on our road trip. Beautiful hotel with traditional furniture in the room. We had an adorable 4 poster bed. Complementary cookies, sweets and ice creams for the children, and free tea and coffee all day. Central location. Friendly staff. Loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very well positioned in the centre of town. We arrived by bicycle and there is a dedicated store room in the back lane with a keypad lock which was excellent. We had a room in the back block and it was calm and quiet with large bathroom. The first hotel we have stayed in 20 nights in Germany with air conditioning but it wasn’t hot so we didn’t need it. They have a coffee machine you can use any time of the day in the main restaurant near reception and cold drinks, free of charge which was excellent and very much appreciated. Highly recommend.

The front of the hotel is on a very busy traffic street so ask for a quiet room.

Breakfast has got varieties. Beverages throughout the day, coffee tasted very good, they even offered chocolate milk. Beds were comfortable. Not to forget the Friendly staff at the reception.

Parking was a bit away but the walking route was shorter which I found the second time.. overall not a hassle.

Close proximity to the city center. Easy to park in local parking and get to the hotel. Breakfast room well equipped and a good breakfast.

There was not a desk in the room we were in. Made it a little difficult to sit at a computer and connect in with families/work far away.

The hotel is located in a fantastic spot right on the main square. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but the area where it's served is available throughout the day, making it a great place to relax with coffee or tea and enjoy a delicious biscuit as a treat.

In our room, the wifi was not so strong, and our roaming signal strength was also a bit poor. But that's a small inconvenient.

Breakfast was good nonetheless. Guy from checkin was friendly and polite

It seems that some rooms don’t have a toilet which wasn’t clear during the booking process. Had to buy a room upgrade after the booking. No one greeted us for breakfast, staff was just standing around the front office desk. When we checked out it felt awkward to interrupt the staff’s smalltalk.

We loved everything about this hotel! Melanie was absolutely brilliant. She helped answer all our questions about the town; nothing was too much trouble. She is a credit to the hotel. Great location right in the town centre. Car parking was...interesting. we couldn't understand how deep underground the car park was, but the entrance for it was right near the hotel! We would definitely stay there again.
