Great location. Close to the beautiful lake Amersee and access by car to a private beach which was beautiful. Situated In the laid back town of Dießen which has good selection of shops and restaurants. Property is clean with all facilities required for a self catering apartment plus extra. We had the Garden room, which had a grass area with decking and was perfect for summer evenings. Hosts were welcoming and happily gave extra towels when needed.

Lovely welcoming staff, a friendly boutique hotel. Great location to explore Diessen and surrounds, we also loved the private lake access. The Loft is a lovely family space perfect for spring or autumn (and probably winter given the heaters - it would be gorgeous and sunny).

It was hot in the loft on the hot summer days, and the fans only went part way to cooling it. Blackout curtains would have helped us sleep in too, as the sun came in very early. The rooms lower down in the hotel seemed much cooler.

The room without air conditioning was unbearable on hot summer nights, and the room was not soundproof, so I had to wake up to the alarm from the next room early in the morning. Also, the open shower area was a bit uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it was a cozy hotel that I liked.

The >500 years of history for this hotel - explained with pleasure by one of the owners - was amazing to learn and you could almost feel it when seeing all the little details of this building. Just very exceptional. Another highlight: The breakfast is just perfect - local, great choice and super friendly staff to help. Good for all kinds of flavors or expectations, from vegan, veggie to a nice selection of cheese and others.

Although it's an old building, sound proofing is good, no floors cracking or such. Can walk everywhere in town from there. Breakfast is great and taken seriously, best Laugenstangen we had in our lives, so crispy... The hosts made very professional recommendations for dinner.

View from our window was building few meters away, but that's the price of being central.

The room clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful whenever we needed anything. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

This was supposed to be the last stop of our 2 weeks road trip. A place to rest before the flight back. It turned out to be another gem in a very authentic village. The structure itself is beautiful, and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was the best we had on our tour. On the last day, we had to leave early to the airport so they opened the dining room early.

Well organised from first email acknowledging the booking with detailed informations. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Rich breakfast which I was able to have before 8 which I appreciate a lot. Also vegan, allergy free options. I hope to be able to come back in the future as this hotel and location needs few days to be fully enjoyed.

Really cool & unique decor, amazing lakeside area for hotel & appartement guest use 5min drive, nice & thoughtfully considered guest information. Appartement in the seperate house (pink door) is really well equiped, great for kids, little fenced garden. Really cute village.

Difficulty in using the key to unlock the outside door to let myself in at night.
