Breakfast and Restaurant.

We got a room which was occupaid. The next room we got as an exchange was clearly smaller. Furthermore a staff had kindly helped us to carry our suitcases to the rooms upstairs, but later complained about that in front of another customer, quasi Wir seien faul. That was disappointing.

-The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were able to check in very quickly and given information in English, which was very helpful. -The room was of large size, had a bigger than average bed, and was quiet, even though we faced the road. Bathroom was of good size and had a very nice shower. Walkability to the train station took 10 mins most. They also have plenty of parking. -We had dinner at the resturant and also breakfast, both were outstanding! Additionally, they have a beautiful biergarten outside if you choose to enjoy a cup of tea (or morning beer!). I really enjoyed the rooms aesthetic, I felt cozy and relaxed.

It did not bother us, but if you had trouble with stairs, going up to your room maybe a bit difficult. The stairs are wide and maybe 20 in total, so nothing too bad to handle wth luggage.

Really pleasant folks top to bottom. Food, not just breakfast, was excellent. Had dinner with fiends and they are switching allegiances from Gusthaus Ruf. These folks have a “Doggie Menu”!!!

Hotel zur Post is in an excellent location in Herrsching. Only a several-minute walk to the train station and lake waterfront. As the last stop on the S8 Bahn it's easy to get into Munich and the airport and a day pass will get you around at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet is impressive. So much variety, excellent quality and a great setting. The room I had on the top floor was comfortable, very clean and quiet. It could have been quiet though as it wasn't too busy for the time of year I was there. There are a lot of hard surfaces which could make for a potentially loud atmosphere but those staying there and working there seemed very respectful of noise. Any visit to Herrshing wouldn't be complete if you don't do the walk to the Monastery and beer garden in Andechs. The main path is only a short walk away from the hotel.

Would be nice to have better coffee/tea facilities in the room. There's a kettle and cups but it wasn't stocked very well. The king-size bed was comfortable but the twin-size duvet was well undersized. I appreciate though that it's less water to clean a small duvet over a large one if only one person is sleeping in it.

We were already enjoying our stay with the comfort of the room/bed. Then, we were BLOWN away by the breakfast. I was so happy that my in-laws got to experience a decadent german breakfast with sooo many options with such friendly service by the sweet italian server

Wonderfully comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Food was very tasty. We were in the area visiting Kloster Andechs and this is the perfect overnight stay!

Friendly atmosphere, warm and christmas spirit. They think about details . I've loved the personal notes in the bathroom and behind the bed. Breakfast was excellant!

Beds are not so comfortable
