Clean, ample parking, a short 5-10 minute walk away from city center Starnberg, an excellent Spa facility (with 65/85 C rooms and an area for outdoor relaxation afterwards), and decent access to the lake for swimming in the morning - this is a great place to stay in Starnberg

The closest swimming location in the Starnberg See(Bürgerpark) is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Not that this is particularly far - but I thought it was a bit closer from previous reviews.

Excellent breakfast. Very clean and comfortable sauna facilities. Beer and water in the mini bar included. Very kind and helpful staff.

Overpriced Oliv's restaurant with overspiced food. Some was salty, some was too sour. They waiter didn't know the wines except the so called recommended ones. The michelin star restaurant is open only three days a week?

I have stayed here four times and loved it every time. The food in all the restaurants are delicious and the views from the balcony is amazing!

The rooms were too hot, the only way to cool them down was to open the balcony door

Very conveniently located in the south east outside of Munich. In the countryside by a beautiful lake but less than an hour from MUC airport. There are frequent trains from Starnberg station to downtown Munich Hbf

Parking is very limited free of charge and the small underground park is EUR 18 per day.

Property was very nice and staff was great!

Because we were there for medical reasons for a lengthy period of time, we would have appreciated some laundry services and optional mini fridge items and a microwave.

The staff, especially front desk was stellar. They helped navigate (spoke on the phone as we don't speak very fluent German) a late night pizza delivery for our sports teams. The were always kind and helpful, the entire staff.

This is a very well run hotel. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and has everything you need. I decided to stay for dinner instead of going out in the heavy rain at the time and I am so glad I did. Highly recommended! And make sure you stay for breakfast. Wonderful! So much choice and very well cooked and prepared. Can’t wait to return…

Nice and quite room with very comfortable beds. Wide bathroom. Water and beer from minibar offered. Great breakfast, top quality. Very close to like seaside and 5 minutes walk from Starnberg city center.

Location is very good to access the lake. It was close by foot. Interior looks nice and modern. Thanks for a powerful air-conditioner, I slept well on hot night. Its breakfast is one of high level among conventional breakfast buffet.

Conveniently located with an easy walk to Starnberg lake and a diverse variety of restaurants and services. Very easy to get to Neuschwanstein and Oberammergau.
