Great location close to all the lakes with the most amazing breakfast and a fantastic restaurant.

For people with limited walking ability, the rooms in the main house do not have lift access. The new house about 100 meters away has lift facilities.

The guesthouse with restaurant and beer garden is in a great, quiet location with superb views over the landscape; modern clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, a super breakfast buffet and great food in the restaurant. The Query team have also been very flexible to change the room for my father, to reduce the amount of stairs he had to climb at nearly 90 years old. Overall the perfect location for our family stay.

While everything about the property is great, it is the service and hospitality which set them apart. Because of this I will always try to book this property first when in the area. I have stayed twice and each time they served me food on my late arrival.

The mattress on my single bed could be a bit better.

Both the facilities and the staff were great. The Biergarten and dining room had great service and good hours. The food and Bier were outstanding. Great hotel for biking with a storage area and work bench with bike tools, pump, etc in the underground garage.

Everything was great.

the boardinghouse is more modern than the main building and the interior is really pleasing. also, I feel the mattress in the boardinghouse room suited me more than the one in the older accommodation of theirs, I slept better. but the main reason for me to choose this hotel are the baked goods for breakfast- the crunchy baguette, the excellent dark bread, and the very tasty sweet pastries

the location is in the middle of nowhere. I even drive to Herrsching for my early morning walks as in Frieding, you can only walk among the fields which is nothing to write home about. also, I struggled with opening the room door in the boardinghouse during their Ruhetag. the electronic chip did not work and the traditional key requires a specific way of handling to unlock the door- took me many tries on my arrival and about ten minutes to figure out the trick how to get the door open. I may just be clumsy, but it was the first time in my life when I had such a problem

We are so happy to have found this little gem. We stayed here for one night whilst travelling and it met all our expectations. We had super spacious room with a little kitchenette. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel also runs a restaurant where we managed to have dinner. Great atmosphere with delicious food. Breakfast had a lovely variety of food. We would definitely stay here again

I wish all my travels in Bavaria were as quaint as this one. It was a gem of a find for us and truly started our holiday perfectly. The staff is superb! I will certainly come back and definitely longer next time. It was a shame to be there for only one evening. I also appreciated the communication exchange through the Booking texting feature. That was extremely helpful.

More places in Bavaria to be like Der Obere Wurt zum Queri. I wish that the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the Biergarten. Which totally out of their control.

You feel yourself at home. Wonderful Christmas atmosphere. Comfortable to be reached by car. Nice and rich breakfast included in the room price

The small town where it is located is very nice but small and far from everything

Impressive breakfast for a Bavarian village, vegan options! Nice, quiet room, I guess wheelchair accessible?! huge bathroom. Super soft beds. Nice staff too.

An excellent hotel with a nice restaurant. The rooms in the new building (Neubau) are sensational - big, quiet and extremely comfortable. Exceptionally friendly staff.
