We did not feel comfortable with the fact that there were Russian tourists staying there.

The room was lovely. The bed was large and comfortable. The AC worked well. The fridge was regularly topped up with large bottles of water and a selection of soft drinks. The room had a good balcony overlooking the sea and a space to enjoy magnificent sunsets. The staff are very friendly, hardworking and patient. There are plenty of activities throughout the day if you wish to partake; otherwise, there are three pools and a children's waterpark. As it was not peak season during my visit, there was never any problem getting a sun lounger, there was always space in the restaurant, bars and lounge area, but these can become busy when a tropical storm hits in the day. The hotel backs onto a beautiful beach which is safe to walk along; although there are some locals just beyond the hotel fencing trying to sell their goods, they weren't pushy and left me alone once I made it clear that I was not going to buy anything or book a trip. The sunset at the beach attracts many people from the hotel and surrounding properties to get those insta worthy shots!

The hotel could not help me book a transfer back to the airport. They recommended I go onto the road and speak to some Tuk-Tuk drivers. I ended up booking through a taxi app. The hotel claims to offer toiletries, but I don't believe a 5* hotel should only have bars of soap and a 2-in-1 dispenser on the wall that looks like dish soap. There should be an environmentally friendly alternative. This is my second visit to the hotel, and some of the facilities (sun loungers, furniture and building exterior) are looking a little tired and need a freshen-up. My room was close to the main stage for the entertainment, meaning there was no chance of getting any sleep before 11 pm as it was like the band was in my room with me. The gym needs a free weights section.

All meals were great and the staff serving there was great

The staff at the pool bar. A huge disapointment. Not interested in giving service to someone who don't shout out and wave with arms to get attention. After trying three times at different ocassions to order from the pool bar I gave up. Other guests coming after me got help but staff totally ignored me. I will NOT recommend the pool bar if you want good service, as the other staff did know how to do.

First of all the staff were friendly and the large amount of inclusive food and beverages was more than satisfying. The buffet and cocktails were very much plentiful as well. Next the large number of properly maintained facilities and events on the resort with the very cheerful staff are another additional plus point.

I wish the snacks corner could be improved with more healthy items rather than standard fried food. The ac used in the rooms are sooo cool that once they are turned off and balcony doors are opened there is a thick layer of water that forms on the floor due to the large difference between outside and inside the room I would suggest to put some notice or a warning saying that once the ac is turned off be careful of the water that forms on the floor due to the humidity difference.

The location of the hotel and the facilities (swimming pools) are great, the employees are friendly and always available to help you. The cleaning is done on daily basis with quality. For an all inclusive hotel the the relation price/quality is good.

After 7 days of staying the variety of food in the buffet is becoming the same, the hotel should promote theme nights dedicated to regional foods and/or BBQ nights. The hotel is located 2 hours drive from Colombo international airport and do not provide taxi bookings for the guests, please be aware of this so that you will not be surprised, this is something that the hotel should improve in the relation with their guests.

Great selection of food ensured everyone had something they liked on offer from grilled fish and meats to pizzas , burgers and local curry’s. Friendly staff and quick responses to any requests we had. We were lucky to receive an upgrade on arrival which offered a great view and the room was nice and spacious compared to some others we have stayed in. Housekeeping created daily towel art which our children loved to see after a day at the pool and beach. Some areas of the hotel needed some extra attention such as the umbrellas around the pool are probably due for repair or replacement for example and on occasion we would not receive enough bath towels for our party but this was quickly solved.

The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were always clean and well maintained. The restaurants offered a wide choice of dishes, and there were also several à la carte options. There was a separate adults-only pool without access for children. In the evenings, we enjoyed a good entertainment program. There were also board games available in the lobby. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money.

There could be more entertainment for children. For example, a mini-disco would be nice, but not at 5:30 PM when many guests are still at the pool, the beach, or on excursions. It would be better around 8:30 PM.

There were lots of pools and lounge chairs. Good food selection, the local food choices were very tasty. Coffee bars were good. They upgraded one of our rooms so our kids could be next to our room. I felt safe. We appreciated their well stocked mini fridge. And they were able to get us a sewing kit to fix a button when we requested it.

It was a little expensive. The pool bar closes too early, but thankfully the inside bar's drinks were better anyways. We were not informed, in advance, that the steak restaurant wasn't open on Friday - Sunday. So we weren't able to make a reservation there as we arrived on a Thursday and was already booked for that night. Their app for booking dining doesn't work really well. More juice options for the fridge over soda would have been great.

The breakfast options was disappointing Stayed three nights but no options of string hoppers or hoppers Having milk rice on two consecutive days was disappointing

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights after 2 weeks touring Sri Lanka. The service was absolutely brilliant from the moment we arrived. Housekeeping was excellent and aside from servicing the rooms really well, went out of their way to check we were happy. Service in all the restaurants and bars was excellent - never had to wait for drinks and all staff were very attentive. Food in all the restaurants was also very good with a lot of choice including for myself as a vegetarian and a toddler. Rooms were well sized, clean, comfortable and with good working air conditioning and hot water. We absolutely loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Loved everything. Pools could do with some light maintenance - all OK but some areas need re-grouting. Note that the sea is not suitable for swimming but the beach is beautiful.
