The hotel from outside does not deliver the comfort and design as it is inside. It is a very well thought lobby, very nice setting with green all around, quiet village setting and very nice attached bier garden with amazing choices and good portions of food. Also events take place regularly. The rooms are well thought, with comfortable beds, ideal for families or couples. Airy and big. The breakfast was nice with friendly and professional staff.

We noticed that due to the design the toilet, though comfortable and big, was attached to the main room with glass doors, not fully closing either to the toilet or the shower site. But this was due to the design rather than malfunctioning.

The room was excellent, clean and quite wide even if we were 4 people in the room. There is garden bar, which looks very nice, but we have not used it as spent all rest time in pool and sauna. Pool and sauna area was excellent which is included into booking without additional fee. Parking was available at entrance, but there is additional one on other side of building if I understood correctly.

It was offered to book table in restaurant without telling that garden bar is available as well, which we didn`t know but discovered later. But that was not important in our case as we preferred to spend time in pool and saunas

We booked the room for our trip to Legoland, as birthday gift for our son who turned 11. I want to express my gratitude for the stuff helping me in organizing a memorable birthday. I contacted them in advance and they were very willing to help me with a cake for the dinner birthday (as a surprise after one day at Legoland). More than that, in the morning of his birthday, we had a table full decorated for my son, with balloons, a gift card handwritten and a Lego gift. My son was very very happy!!! The cake they prepared for us for the evening was over our expectations. I mean they were really attentive at my messages and it was a very big surprise for us to have Lloyd on the cake (for connoisseurs...). The stuff helped us again to share the cake with the children were there for dinner and the atmosphere created was very impressive for us, as the children were singing Happy Birthday for our son!!!! So, we spent a great great birthday far from home, but all this would not have been real without the kindness of the hotel stuff!! Thank you!! Thank You!! Thank You!! My son says that he wants next year to be at Schmid Hotel for his birthday ..:).

Our family room was nice and comfortable with good A/C. The view from the room was beautiful. The hotel has a wonderful pool area that we really enjoyed with our kids, and the sauna was also nice. We ordered dinner from the restaurant which was tasty, and breakfast was also good. Not a huge variety, but enough for us. Hotel was easy to find and had a nice parking area for our car. It was a great location to be close to both Augsburg and Legoland, which is exactly what we needed. We would recommend! We hope to return again someday.

It was all good and even nicer than we expected!

1. The flexibility. We arrived late, and the staff made its best to arrange that we could still use the bath with its facilities and still have dinner before the kitchen closes. 2. We also could stay a few hours more to benefit from the bath facilities after the breakfast. 3. The bath is quite comprehensive, we really enjoyed it. 4. Breakfast was great, quality and diversity. 5. The Biergarten was nice and very friendly. We really enjoyed the dinner. It was not the first time, and last year we enjoyed it so much that we asked to stay for another night.

Nothing, we really liked to stay here.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was varied and abundant. The pool, jacuzzi and Finnish sauna were enough to keep us adults and children happy all weekend. Dinner in the restaurant was extremely good, worth the price and the ambiance very nice. The lobby had board games that kept my three little piggies stimulated. Parking was immediately available in front of the Hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable.

When we stayed in the hotel is was a hot sunny day (+ 30 degrees). Also in the room it was hot and during the night it was difficult to cool down. The efficiency of the air conditioning was poor. But the other facilities (sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi…) were superb! In addition the Biergarten offers excellent menus and - on sunny days - you can enjoy the meal outside in the spectacular garden!

Swimming, sauna and gym complex is superb and has plenty of space. Enjoyed our Finnish sauna.

When we booked we did not know that this hotel is part of a ‘group’ of Tagungs (meeting/conference) hotels. Therefore there was no food available, for non-conference guests, between breakfast and dinner times. And no other eating establishment in the village.

The "beergarten". An amazing place where to eat and pass lovely moment with the family.

Th room was very hot from late evening to early morning due to warm climate of the last days. In addition the mattress is covered with a plastic sheet under the linen, make the sleep a little bit uncomfortable because the body parts in contact with this become drenched in sweat.

Very convenient location, close to motorway. Great breakfast buffet and great facilities for children - both in- and outside. The staff were helpful, we left some jackets behind by the playground, phoned the reception once we realised this, and they kindly collected them for us and kept them till our return 2 weeks later. Beautiful garden. Rooms were big enough and comfortable. The spa is also very nice.

The only inconvenience was when taking a shower, water was flowing out - I believe this is due to a flaw in the design of the shower/toilet pod, the sliding glass door does not insulate fully against water leakage.
