I want to say thank you to each and every employee of Oakwood Suites. Your kindness, respect, and genuine care for the guest shines through in every action you take. I am a transsexual woman and a medical tourist - I expect little from hotels, or people in general, and always try to prepare for the worst because of this. But the lovely people at Oakwood have treated me with nothing but kindest and made me feel special. From two gentlemen taking my luggage and wheeling me up to my room. To the wonderful ladies at the front desk who let me check in early after arriving from the hospital earlier than expected. From a lovely gentleman who offered to carry my Grab order up to my room because i may not have been to. And as i am staying at their hotel again as i type - i am sure more lovely experiences to come. As for the rooms - the standard deluxe room comes with two air conditioners, a wonderful refrigerator with a very cold freezer, a microwave and modern stove in the kitchen. The lounge area comes with a couch, cushions, table and Samsung smart tv. The bedroom had a very big and comfortable bed, light-up wardrobe with a Philips hair dryer, safe, and several electric outlets conveniently placed all around for your convenience. There is also a phone and a balcony. The higher up floors have the most beautiful views - and the ladv at reception even asked if i would like a high floor too. :) On top of all this the price to stay here is affordable and accessible to everyone - no Credit Card required only a security deposit of 1000 baht. And the Wifi is OMG !!!! The wifi is so fast, unlimited and accessible in the lobby as well. Make sure to ask them for the wifi password at reception. You get the five star hotel experience from the staff- a high end apartment experience from the room - and all at a price that much lesser establishments change the same for.

Occasionally one room might have an appliance that doesn't work as well as it would in all other rooms in the hotel. Given how many rooms there are - i think that's understandable.

Great staff, the general manager was brilliant as were the breakfast, reception and cleaning staff. Nice new clean rooms, great Wi-Fi, nice pool, decent shower (with a proper door) and very secure, your card only gives you access to your side of the floor plus obviously the communal areas. If you want to leave a tip for the room cleaners (I always do if they’re good) who are fabulous here give it to them a day or two before you check out as it’s a different person who comes to your room on your last day. The location is great if you want the Lelux hospital but there’s not a great deal in walking distance from there.

Nothing really if I had to say something I’d say the breakfast options were not massive.

Friendly, humble & polite staff with great service mind. And the location is super convenient, very very close to the subway purple line 👍🏻

MISSING Curtain in the kitchen area, when you shower you have to be careful. little privacy. -Iron, for those who travel if they have to go out the same evening and can't wait for the laundry it is very convenient. The fact of having lost the bag with food inside, and the thermal water bottle (very useful in this season). I suppose the owner.. wanted to reimburse us, instead we accepted the offered lunch. EXCELLENT SOLUTION 👍🏻, solved by a gentleman who also made the bitterness of having lost the water bottle disappear. fortunately here too.. there is Dechatlon.

The room as small but had everything what we needed. Every single room was precisely the size that we needed. We appreciated the stay and it was really nice to be directly connected to the closed areas in Bangkok, we used a car when we were there all the time and it was kind of convenient to be there with the car. Also we received a parking area from the hotel, that was a big reason to go for this hotel. Thanks for the great stay.

One of our rooms was not prepared at all and we had to switch the rooms even though I explicitly asked for both rooms next to each other. At the end we received 2 different rooms in 2 different floors, which I did not like at all.

This is our third stay at Oakwood and the staff are so hospitable, super lovely and we just love staying here. The view is magnificent from the Zodiac Bar, the rooms are immaculate and Oakwood is situated right next the Yaek Tiwanon MRT which makes it a very useful location for getting to the city.

The only thing I would say, and this is me really really trying my hardest to find something...because it is almost impossible. The only thing I would say is that the pool is a little bit cold. But otherwise, there is literally nothing else that we did not like.

The staff are so wonderful and hard working. Please be kind to them as they will be to you. The rooms are accommodating and come with all the essentials - including Samsung refrigerator, two air conditioners, hair dryer, microwave, smart tv, comfy and spacious bed, wardrobe and more. The living room has a very comfy couch with cushions that is ideal to relax on. The location is next to the purple train line directly outside of the nonthaburi station. The rooms and elevators are security pass card locked and there are on site security guards. The hotel is very clean with daily housekeeping. The top floors have beautiful views from the balcony and i would highly recommend a high floor. :) I was gifted this mug by the hotel staff - another small gesture of how lovely they all are. A very well run hotel with helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was very good, with very good service. The rooms were clean and spacious, with effective air conditioning, good light and fully working in-room facilities. The pool and gym areas are well laid out and the children's room was well stocked with toys.

There were no cooking implements in the room despite provision of a stove top, although this is common on many Thai apartments. A sharp knife would have been very useful. Otherwise the kitchen area was well stocked.

The rooms

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times I come back for the rooms and modern vibe. However the only thing that should be addressed is the swimming pool. Although it looks lovely. It is super cold. I think you would have a lot more customers if it was warmer. Maybe due to the position of the pool there is no direct sunlight so the pool does not benefit from the warmth but no matter how hot it is. The water is ice cold. Not good or relaxing to lounge around the pool and this is a disadvantage compared to other hotels and apartments I’ve stayed in Thailand

This feels more like a service apartment, with a separate bedroom from the living room, and a dedicated kitchen area. There is also a pool and a gym, and a brilliant rooftop area with magnificent views. The bed is incredibly comfortable.

It feels more like a service apartment and less like a hotel, not sure if that’s really an issue. It feels a little bit like it is a bit more away from the interesting parts of Bangkok, but it is quite convenient to get everywhere, so this is not too much of a big issue.
