New modern Boutique Hotel. Stylish Design. In the middle of historic town center. Modern spacious rooms with everything you need. Breakfast not included but over general french standart.

Front desk receptionist not very experienced. But that is probably due to the recent opening of the hotel.

Hotel Moderne is exactly what the name says but more. It is modern but warm and well-built. The staff were gracious and very helpful. Our room (which overlooked the town rather than the water) was a bit noisy late at night because of the nightlife surrounding us, but the hotel itself was designed with thick walls and with the rooms not on top of each other. Our balcony was a nice addition which added a bit of space, and the mini bar and espresso machine and counter were as well.

Only the late night noise, but it's a fun town and that wasn't unexpected.

Hotel Moderne is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of the old town next to the beautiful square and church. The hotel was recently renovated and it was clear the owners have done it to a very high standard. The rooms are comfortable with excellent sound proofing, high quality finishings and an extremely comfortable and large bed. The tea, coffee and water were replenished every day and the room was very clean. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked good. The hotel has a lovely roof terrace with fantastic views. So a lovely hotel but it was the owner and staff that made it really special - everyone was very friendly and helpful, offering good advice on where to go and helping to arrange days out for us. They made it a perfect stay.

I can't think of anything i didn't like.

Quite a recently refurbished hotel so the facilities were excellent. Hotel is in the heart of the pedestrian area of town so a little awkward to get to with a car. Car parking is available nearby...at a cost. There is a rooftop terrace that has great views.

Paid extra for parking in a nearby parking area....quite expensive. Breakfast was also an extra cost, and while we could eat it on the lovely rooftop terrace, it was not great value for money. Overall, I felt this place was a bit overpriced.

The location couldn't have been more perfect. Right in the heart of the old town. Free town bus goes right past the door. Excellent restaurants within 200m. Friendly & helpful staff. The building has recently been renovated to a high quality and finish. Very modern & stylish. Beautiful bathroom and although the room isn't overly large there was plenty of room for luggage and spreading out. Beds were comfortable and bed linen very high quality. I would definately recommend this hotel.

This is not a negative it is just a comment. The hotel parking is difficult because the hotel is located in the pedestrian centre of the old town. There is some vehicle access right to the door of the hotel but only for loading & unloading. However we left on a Sunday and there is NO vehicle access at all which meant we had to drag our luggage to the car some distance away. We later found that the hotel could have granted us access thru the locked bollards.

Staff are wonderful. At night, the clerk insisted we have a glass of water to refresh before retiring to the room. Also, we expected a package to the premises. We were nearly to miss it as the taxi was arriving to ferry us to the airport (Figari) - they retrieved the package just in the nick of time from the post office and handed it to us just as we entered the taxi.

Cannot come up with a complaint - honestly. The location, staff, room all exceeded expectations.

Stunning, clean modern rooms right in the heart of a beautiful old town. The front desk staff were so welcoming and helpful and really took the time to help us plan our trip. I'm glad we didn't' stay in the Port, where we were was so beautiful and surrounded by beautiful cafe's restaurants and authentic shops. We visit Santa Giulia beach as part of their recommendation and it was beautiful!

Choice of healthy or continental breakfast.Would have liked more options but a small hotel. Location in the centre excellent. Free bus around the town. Staff really welcoming and helpful. Plenty of eateries within a 100m. We came by bus so for us the location was superb.

Apart from more breakfast choice nothing.

breakfast was perhaps a little bit small and charged separately to the room - it looked very pretty and fitted in with the aesthetic of the hotel - the ground floor being a local cafe

Location excellent - in the heart of the old town. Parking proved challenging as the roads in the centre are shut off in the evening to pedestrianise the area which we did not know about, but we managed with the help of reception staff who were brilliant.
