It was peaceful and clean. Receptive staff members.

I felt I had to wake early to go grab breakfast in order to get any at all or what is acceptable. On two occasions before 10am or thereabout, I had to take what's remaining, which was little to no ground provision, and the other no ground provision was left, only proteins. Please ensure that your guests are properly catered for in this regard; a good projection is key

Staff were very courteous and kind. I would like to give special mention to Jermaine from reception who went above and beyond in helping us with our luggage yesterday. Also the two lovely ladies who served breakfast on the 22 February. Your beautiful personalities made us feel really special and I would like to thank you both. The room and bathroom were clean. The room was spacious with two double beds. You get complimentary water in the room. Breakfast was delicious and choices were good. There were a lot on offer for the cooked Jamaican breakfast which we opted for. There were also continental. These were served with a bowl of fruit and there were also fruit juices and coffee and tea. We did not eat an evening meal so can't comment. The hotel is located just across the street from Emancipation Park which is a beautiful park you can exercise or relax in. Lots of local transport passes outside the gates of the hotel. You can get private hire taxi or shared taxi with fares at $150 Jamaican dollars. The JUTC buses are even cheaper. Knutsford Express is a 10min or less walk. Lots of eateries around - restaurants and fast food outlets including KFC and Juici beef. When I next visit Jamaica and Kingston in particular, this is the place for me.

Breakfast was good. Being able to enjoy authentic local cuisine was the highlight of our morning.

The room door was squeaky. Could have used some WD-40. I did not call the front desk about this though. I felt that the room is being cleaned often enough for someone to notice and have the squeaky sound fixed as it was very loud and it’s not normal for doors to make sounds unless there’s a doorbell. The noise on a Friday night is unbearable. Some concession should be made for persons staying on a Friday. I did appreciate that the neighbors responsible for whatever even it was, adhered to the noise abatement act so I could consider sleeping by 1 am.

Super spaceous room with good hot shower, airconditioning, fridge, tv. Went swimming in the pool and played pickleball on the court. Perfect location. Delicious jamaican breakfast!

You can only get one breakfast serving at the buffet, so no going back for seconds. This was not explained properly in the beginning.

This was our 2nd stay at the Liguanea Club in 18 months. We were greeted by the same reception staff we encountered at our previous stay. It definitely felt like a private members sports club (which it is) - a relaxing, tranquil grand 2-storey caribbean property that is contemporary in style and yet manages to retain much of its colonial era architecture ie the dark wood staircases and floorboards throughout, as well as the muted yet jot bland colour palette used in the common areas. All of the greenery - trees, plants and flower bushes dotted in and around the property was also fabulous. Right in the heart of New Kingston and yet there was no traffic noise to be heard! The only thing that we were disappointed about was that the swimming pool was out of commission, as it was on our previous visit in 2023. Hopefully, it will reopen in time for our return trip in 2026 :)

Everything was amazing in the property it just few misunderstandings when i was checking in n since i was paying in advance so i saw the bill $00000 like 5 figure amount n i was shocked i was like but it was showing $000 then front desk agent explained me that its in local currency. Pool was amazing n gym was always full. And i like the idea for reusing the towel i know it’s not much but at least u are giving that feeling that m contributing something for sustainability. I miss the staff name but all were amazing

I don’t say didn’t like it but the shower head was clogged i guess cos sometimes it was working well n sometimes not.

Comfortable rooms. Excellent front desk and restaurant staff. Breakfast buffett delicious. Beautiful gardens. It's mango time and there is a mango tree. Yum yum. Sporting fans can enjoy tennis, pickel ball, table tennis, and squash.Yoga classes available. Five minute walk to Emancipation Park to use the walking trail, enjoy the beautiful gardens, outdoor gym or play a game of outdoor table tennis. Loved the little shop in the lobby for snacks, drinks, ice cream n tennis gear n so much more with friendly n attentive staff.

I like dark rooms for sleeping. Needs black out curtains.

I had a pleasant stay at Liguanea Club. The room was clean, spacious, and well-kept — everything was neat and more than enough for my needs. The receptionist was very helpful; there was a small hiccup at check-in, but she genuinely tried her best to assist. The location is great — walking distance to lots of food spots and the park, which was super convenient. The only downside was the condition of the roadway inside the property. After rain, large puddles formed, which made it a bit tricky to get around. That definitely needs to be fixed.

In my opinion the LC is the best place to stay in Kingston. You will see reviews on here saying the LC is old and has seen it’s better days and yes there are brand new hotels like the AC and the ROK which if you didn’t know you are in Kingston , you’d think you were in Miami. Yes , LC was built in 1910, the original building is old and you can see this, having said this, that’s what gives the LC its charm. The LC is in the middle of New Kingston so you can walk 5-10 minutes to so many things like Emancipation Park, several eating establishments. The LC has an incredible pool, racket ball courts, tennis courts and a very adequate weight room and you can walk the grounds . You feel as if you are on your own island in the middle of a busy city. So you can pay $300-$400 to stay at the new places if you need to feel special or you can spend $75-$125 at the LC and feel loved

Really nothing I didn’t like. The weight room could use some new equipment but it’s not necessary
