Ladies were extremely friendly!

Gentleman would not let us check in because the room was not cleaned yet. I already had a room from the day before and was staying for another night. I had another room for my nephew and the gentleman refused to let us check in at noon and just put his bags in our room so we could leave and go to our reunion because the room wasn’t clean yet which I understand yet all we wanted to do was have the paperwork signed and know what room it was and have the key so we could leave and go to maquoketa. We didn’t arrive back to the hotel till after 8:00 pm then still had to check in. Just stilly when I already had been there one night and we just wanted to head out for the day and have the check in done. The lady that evening and the evening before was super sweet and helpful!!!

Staff was very friendly. The property had cute decor and was taken care of. Breakfast was well stocked and even had some gluten free options yogurt, fruit and hard boiled eggs. They had cute touches like books to borrow and read at the business center.

The pullout sofa was worn and not the most comfortable for lounging to watch TV. The mattress was not very plush, Ive slept worse though.

Overall, a nice place. The room had everything I needed, including a hair dryer.

After driving all day, I was more than ready for a swim and a soak in the hot tub, and they were out of order. I know that things happen, but I select hotels based on the amenities they list, and there's no compensation when they turn out to be unusable. :(

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was excellent! Annette was extremely helpful and efficient. The little bar was just right for an evening together after driving. The breakfast was more than sufficient to get the day started. I would highly recommend staying at the DewWitt, IA location.

We had a little trouble adjusting the in-room heat. Also, our TV didn't work; the staff person tried to help, but couldn't fix it.

The room was very dusty, the bathroom sink smelled like sewer, and the towel rack fell off the wall and wouldn't stay on.
