The suite was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Beach view was lovely with the option to sit outside and face the beach.

The room didn't match any of the pictures on booking.com's website, which I don't find to be fair or transparent. I might consider booking a different room or facility had I been more able to match a room with a price. I expect this as a paying customer.

It was available. The layout was great. The shower was different from most hotels. Huge. I liked the table and chairs. The view was amazing.

The price was way too high for this time of the year. The stairs were killers for our knees. Much higher than most places. We had requested lower level but sadly didn’t have one available. Do not book if you have bad knees etc and can’t get a lower level. No breakfast included. At this price there should have been something extra.

This place was located right on the beach with a view from our upstairs room. Our room was very spacious as well. The bed was large and comfortable. The inn was a very short walk from the Aquarium which we found very interesting. The Inn does not have a restaurant, but we had no trouble finding places nearby. There is a wonderful boardwalk nearby and a park with beautiful sculptures.

Very friendly staff, and really liked the location. It is on a quiet side road so there is minimal traffic noise and the views were great. It was nice to be able to park the truck and snowmobiles away from the main st. traffic and we could see it from the room. Lots of places nearby for food and entertainment.

Parking was tight with a large truck and snowmobiles and full of cars in the evening, but there was always space to park.

Location and room space

I went to the reception to request an extra 1h stay (until 12 pm instead 11am). No one was there. I rang the bell and one person showed at the end of a corridor. I asked about the stay. The guy didn't even bother to check. From the end of the corridor, he told me in a rude manner that I need to leave at 11am. The attitude was not professional.

Marina, the lady who was really kind, welcoming and knew her job. With little artistic houses in front of our room with sea View! Decorations in corridor and the room were really nice and carefully chosen! I relaxed on the chairs outside of room and enjoyed the sea sound.

I wish I could cook and wash the dishes in a kitchen.

The service I received from the second I arrived was incredible. My French is basically nil but through a bit of verbal work and some hand gestures followed by some laughs we made it work. I required a car mechanic for a muffler problem. They directed to an honest mechanic and picked me up and drove me back to my room. 2hrs later the mechanic was at my door to pick me up. I was flabbergasted. Then the water view was equally amazing.

Everyone and everything was amazing but if I'm to pick apart anything I'd have to say that the walls are thin. The other occupants were great but I could hear some conversation.

Location right at the northern end of a Hey 299 and the room facing the St. Lawrence. This would be a wonderfully romantic spot for a couple.

We had to move the beds to access the electrical sockets, such that the bathroom door, once open, would significantly limit the space for passage at the foot of one of the beds.

excellently located auberge, near to all places in town. Nice hostess, changed our toilet when broken. A nice public park next to it, where we could eat.

room was located on the road side, not nice view, pretty loud when there was traffic.

Auberge du Vieux Faubourg was a quaint boutique hotel right on the river. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom is somewhat dated and could use an update but was still very clean. There were chairs on the deck outside our room to enjoy the evening however we had to enjoy the view through our window as it was a rainy and cold (10⁰ C) June evening. We ate at the nearby ‘Du Quai’. They are understaffed and it was slow to be seated and waited upon but the food was excellent.
