Absolutely enjoyed a night's stay here! Comfortable bed, convenient location just across the sea. Access to supermarkets, food joints. Harbor within a few kilometers (wonderful sunset). What stood out the most, though, was our interaction with the owners of this Pirate themed motel. They went out of their way to help us with information on things to do. They also got a friend of theirs to help us with details around things to do, and one of the owners translated everything in English! Got info, I learned a bit of French 😉. Highly recommend, great place to stay, and owners who truly cared!

Very friendly owners. You must try their homemade pizza , it was delicious. In front of park just across the street with access to the beach. The rv park has a small zip line for the kids. I would highly recommend to anyone. The rooms are small, cozy and very clean.

Super friendly and welcoming staff. We checked in late and were able to order a pizza at the same time which was very convenient. The motel is just a few steps away from the beach. Great play area for the kids.

The owner was available and helpful, the cleaning staff efficient, and the bedding was comfortable. The place was clean, the water pressure sufficient, and although only one pair of washer/dryer was available, we had no problem doing laundry. We had a quadruple room with a mini-fridge and stovetop, and while it doesn't allow for elaborate cooking, it fit our needs for preparing breakfast and lunches for two (even the odd dinner). Room appeared to have been renovated recently. Ample electrical outlets available. Cable TV & large flat screen was a plus (with news and sports channels to boot).

Nothing to mention. This is a motel and not a 5-star hotel, but if a motel is what you're looking for, then do not hesitate to book. Proximity to the highway was not an issue as far as noise was concerned (it was a bonus otherwise), but a noisy neighbour could easily be an annoyance as footsteps' noise carried between units.

Nice room, close to the sea, friendly staff

The motel is close to a quite busy street. No problem for sleeping, but not nice to sit in front of the room.

The room was simple but clean and it had a private bathroom. It had a small fridge and a coffee machine. I stayed there only for one night after 10 hour drive on my way to Perce so I was very tired and was looking for a place to recharge before another long drive. The short walk to the beach was a bonus. There is nothing better than stretching your legs after a long drive on a beach with a nice scenery. The staff was very friendly too.

The motel is right by the highway so there is a noise from cars and trucks. That said, I knew that coming in and was pretty tired to notice any noise. So, it's not a complain but just a comment to give a fuller picture.

The rooms are bigger than you think with a little kitchenette and all you would need. There is a laundry on the site and a little restaurant, they even hold a little store with some items you could need during your stay. I also had trouble with my booking apps which ended up double booking all my reservation, they were super comprehensive and didn't even charge me for the double booking. If anyone is looking for a nice calm place to stay in Cap Chat, Motel camping Le Pirate should be on your list

They're is no air conditioner in the room but to be honest we didn't need it. You are right by the coast you can see the st-laurent from the site, the coastal wind is enough to cool you down.

I passed through on a Tuesday night. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. I did not find an open restaurant but there was a small grocery store a few kms down the street. It was 10 deg C outside, and my favourite part of this place is the temperature control in the room. It warms up quickly. Much appreciated. On the drive in, I saw whales at Manche-d’Épée. What a sight! This is a small town and I slept very well here.

It was a cold day in late June. The beach is across the street. I walked over but the experience was different than I imagined. Have a backup plan for how to pass the time on cold, wet days.

Very nice room, shower was really good, and the price was great.

Wifi was quite patchy, but we were there for the scenery (not the Internet ;-)

There was no lock on the bathroom, but everything was very clean and comfortable.
