The breakfast was amazing, a very good choice!! and good quality fresh food. The beds were extremely cosy. The views were incredible from the room and hotel was lovely. The gym was very good and a lovely sea view. The pool was nice but not amazing!

few things that I had expected and they are only small things... A little personal touch was missing maybe fruit in the room... There was a little dust here and there around the bathroom and room. The bath leaked when draining. The windows around the whole property could have done with a clean. Just small things you would expect to be better for such an amazing place. Also from the road the hotel looked dark compared to other buildings around it.

Up on a hill isn’t the most convenient location. The buggy to shuttle people up and down isn’t as effective as it could be as it’s always waiting at the top and is very difficult for people at the bottom to get picked up. A call bell would be a great addition for foreign guests who do not have a local telephone number to call the hotel.

A magnificent setting for this fairytale hotel. A photographer's paradise . The staff were brilliant. The meals were wonderful.

The odd few smokers that do not adhere to the no smoking policy. They lurk in the stair well. A group of 4 men were smoking in the bar even though the staff had told them not to smoke.

Having been in many many hotels during my travels, this definitely tops the cake! The magnificence of the design, externally and internally, made the experience and the stay one of a kind. Service was great and there were many facilities on site. Staff look to cater to your needs and they deliver. P.S. Room and view was also spectacular

My family and I are so completely in love with this hotel. It’s so grand and majestic. The staff were all so polite and kind, willing to go the extra mile to accommodate us. We loved our stay here and definitely would return.

A beautiful secluded yet easy to reach location high on a hill overlooking Dalian Bay and Xinghai park to the South featuring picturesque mountains to the North. There is also a wonderful high level garden in easy reach of all floors. Breakfast is plentiful, just two small points, both cheese and bacon are hard to get in China. Streaky bacon isn't up to Breakfast quality as its too fatty and all hotels and shopping malls have very limited cheese varieties.

You would have to be especially critical to fault this hotel. A minor issue with the plug seal in one of the bathroom sinks was dealt with within minutes of advising the problem.

Location, overseeing the sea and the Yellow Sea, gorgeous, the castle stunning.

No roasted Americano coffee at buffet.
