Beautiful views on top of the hill Restaurant food was one of our best meals of our trip - so many delicious soup options too! 30 min to bagni san Filippo bath Size of room with terrace was perfect!

Room was a bit outdated, less modern amenities, could also have provided tea and coffee in room etc. Also note that drive to property is hilly and steep when driving in!

Il Poggio is located high in the hills of the Southern region of Tuscany and looks out at the entire surrounding valley, offering spectacular views. There was a giant veranda where you could eat breakfast and dinner, depending on the weather, and most importantly enjoy a nice glass of wine while looking out at the amazing view, watching the sunset! We enjoyed breakfast each morning! Dinners were also delicious! The employees were awesome! Simona greeted us on our first day and spent several hours helping me to make vineyard and tasting reservations! She went above and beyond to help ensure that my daughter and I had an enjoyable week. She gave us a very nice apartment with a beautiful view. The woman who worked during the week was also very sweet and she helped us with whatever we needed. She did not speak good english but would use google translate to communicate! The women who served breakfast and dinner were always very pleasant and attentive! My daughter and I enjoyed walking around the property. We went to visit the pigs and we also went to see the horses and went horseback riding. It was a little too chilly to go swimming.

The only thing I would suggest would be to offer some different breakfast options each morning. Maybe instead of scrambled eggs every morning, they could have an omelette or pancakes and instead of the same hams and cheese they could have bacon or sausage and a different kind of cheese. Nevertheless we enjoyed our breakfasts there!

Wonderful views all around the Location. Lovely Horse trainer who was excellent with our young Daughter👍 we can totally recommend it for a quite, nature, non touristy experience and friendly experience!

The views are incredible. Saturday nights they host a local gathering with good trucks, alcohol and band. Very fun

There was a very nice view. Breakfast was great. Clean and nice. Swimming pool was great, i used it and i was very happy about that.

We had a huge room which was clean and the bed was comfortable. The terrace for breakfast and dinner was in a lovely location. The pool area wasn't very nice and the staff weren't particularly friendly, the level of customer service could be looked at by the owners. For the price, there will be nicer places to stay in locally

No dinner available. very uncomfortable pillows, old blankets. There was the kitchen in our room but with very poor equipment and missing cutlery . Old bathrooms with very chip and small soap
