Anastassis gave us a friendly and warm welcome and continued this through the stay. His communication before was also very good in terms of arrival advice and then he also gave us great recommendations of places to visit. The villa was clean, spacious, comfortable and a calm place to return to after exploring busier parts of the island. Waking up each morning to the incredible view was a highlight! The breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful. We also enjoyed walking around Sokraki village and having a drink at Emily's cafe. We hope to return to this accommodation and beautiful location.

Nothing at all for us. Some might find the drive up and down the winding hills a challenge but we had an automatic car and had no problem at all. We also used the Troumbetta route most of the time as recommended by Anastassis.

Nice spacious two bedroom villa (one double, one twin (or superking), two full bathrooms, living kitchen diner and three balconies all with pool and sea view. The Taverna is reasonably priced with a varied and traditional menu. Anastasis is an excellent host, endlessly helpful and very friendly. Tranquil location up on the hill. 45 minute drive to Corfu airport.

There isn’t a huge amount to do in the local vicinity. Sokraki itself is very small and not well provided with e.g. a grocery shop so you do have to venture out for this but this of course also adds to the tranquility and seclusion.

What a stunning place. I cannot recommend It enough. If you love great views, peaceful surroundings and lovely & superfriendly staff: this is your place! They offer also excellent breakfast and dinners. Miss it already and also our daily coffee at the centre of the little village, you can walk there easily. Thanks so much for the hospitality

Lovely family run villas and taverna, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb with such a huge variety of delicious, local produce, one of the highlights of the day! Homemade jams (especially watermelon and fig were to die for), greek yoghurt, honey, Greek salad, omelette, toast, crepe, chocolate cake, fresh fruits... Dinner of equal quality, generous and totally delicious. The boutique style villa itself was beautifully decorated, and very homely. We slept so well. Lovely touch to be welcomed with Kumquat liquor and fruits. The view of the mountains and sea from the property pool and balconies is breathtaking and worth getting up for the magnificent sunrise. Perfect romantic break. Get away from the bustle and tourists and stay here! So peaceful. There is a Smart TV (including Netflix) with good WiFi. Sokraki village is so cute and has a lovely welcoming family vibe. We would love to come back one day and if in Corfu again we will surely come here. Cannot say enough good things!

Super nice and helpful staff Very beautiful and tranquil location and nice pool facilities Very nice and clean apartments The breakfast was nice with local and fresh products. The hotel restaurant’s food was overall super tasty, and good value for money!

Absolutely brilliant stay. Was probably one of our favourite places while walking the Corfu Trail. Wonderful double story apartment, extremely well equipped and looked after. We spent a lot of time sitting on one of the two balconies which both have brilliant views. Wonderful pool area. The other amazing feature is the taverna attached to the property and also run by Anastassis who opened it up specially for us when we were there. We loved the big open taverna and the decor was brilliant. Food was top drawer as well. Overall very highly recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer.

From the tastefully Greek furnished, clean rooms, the infinity pool with breathtaking views to the mountains, sea and Corfu Old Town, to the taverna below where delicious Greek Cuisine is served. It’s one of those places where the family goes above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one and it’s no surprise that many of their guests return! It’s central location in the middle of the island is a perfect starting point to drive and explore the island. However, the daily highlight was to return late afternoon for a dip in the pool and enjoy the amazing views and the delicious food. Mama’s moussaka was the best we’ve tasted in a long time. Do walk up to the village to have a coffee or cold drink amongst the locals at Cafe Cherry. It’s the perfect spot to see the village prepare for the day ahead or come together at the end of a hot day when the temperatures cool down.

Absolutely nothing!

The location was in a hillside village, away from the typical tourist locations. Our host family felt like friends. The homecooked fresh food exceptional. We had a clothes washer and line for drying. The swimming pool was clean, full sized and a perfect temperature. The views of the villages below and the ocean were exceptional. We enjoyed walking through the small traditional village where coffee, food and drink are also offered. We definitely recommend eating nightly at the hotel restaurant though.

We were at the beginning of the season and the apartment smelled as though it had been closed up (old fireplace). Leaving the windows open helped with that, and I wouldn't take points off for it. We had to rent a car to get there. I do not know if there would be transportation otherwise. These are not complaints, just observations. Loved the place and the people.

Good breakfast, lovely host and fantastic views. The flowers were gorgeous, my daughter loved running after the kittens. The pool was cool and relaxing. The town is very charming as well.

The beds were a bit hard.
