Mr. Ali, the manager, is a the perfect combo of super organizer, zen philosopher, and hospitality Captain. We wrote him so many emails asking for extra blankets ( my husband has a medical condition) and which room we were getting which he kindly responded to, I was practically embarrassed to finally meet him. However, he had seen to everything, plenty of blankets, fabulous 3rd floor room, wonderful tuna and mahi mahi dinners and we could even do a load of laundry! We had 5 blissful days. Can't wait to return. We kept looking at the resort Island across the water at the gorgeous beach nearby thinking what a fabulous deal we had at Reef Edge for about 90% less money!

Best bed ever! I slept so well. It was the perfect balance of firmness and softness. The sheets were clean and smelled good. The variety of pillows made it easy to pick the right pillow for different sleeping positions. The views from the room and balcony were amazing. You can watch sunset from the balcony.

Stairs can be slippery when wet from cleaning or from people walking up and down with wet feet. Also, sometimes the internet was very slow. It made it hard to do my work at night.

We had a good time for two nights at Reefedge. The rooms were nice and clean. The highlight was the view of our rooms from the top floor. The location was good not busy as the hotel was at the end of the tourist/bikini beach. Staff provided friendly service. They answered a lot of my questions before our arrival. The Assistant manager was helpful. The buggy driver drove us everywhere. We enjoyed walking along the beach in front of the hotel interacting with the locals. We enjoyed the bird called “Cookie” who wanted to keep walking with us despite the owner tried to persuade Cookie to go home. The dream beach and the sunset beach were very beautiful. We took a shark and stingray tour (us$ 44 each for 4 people) with the hotel. The tour boat went back near Male. We spotted two medium-sized sharks swim naturally and many fishes (no feeding). Then at the other spot, a lot of stingrays and fishes came for the food given by the guide. There were not many high-rise hotels on the beach at Thulusdhoo. So that was good.

The breakfast was good. But we got bored on the second day. Shower partition would be nice.

It is super quiet, which was the opposite of the island I had come from. It seems like it is more of a place to go with your significant other, but there were other single people like myself there. Everyone was so nice and helpful here. The food was amazing and a great deal! They managed booking the excursions, and they were always prompt with transport. The details after booking were effective and detailed.

Everything was perfect

1) The staff including Sharif & his team were very helpful. 2) We had 2 rooms & they provided an extra bed without any additional charge. 3) Cart ride was available free of charge, right from pick & drop to island tour & getting to supermarket. 4) They arranged for fishing & snorkeling tour without charging extra. 5) The property is well-maintained offering excellent views of the sea. The rooms are fitted with King Koil beds. 6) They gave us a canoe & dropped & picked us up to Sunset Beach for canoeing.

There is nothing much to write here except that breakfast was essentially the same everyday. However, they compensated by making sausages etc of our choice.

The cleanliness of the place, the location, the staff who really looked after us and were very flexible. We also loved the bikes, the little golf car which took us around the island, the snorkeling gear and the beach towels which were free to borrow. The view is amazing and I really liked the sitting outside. The boys there are really hard working and always customer oriented. We felt extremely comfortable and loved this place.

We loved the food which was always fresh but I would suggest maybe some different things for breakfast as it can get a bit too much having the same breakfast every morning.

The location is 10/10! The views are hard to beat and we love the breakfasts here! Arju and the cleaner are so nice, always smiling and welcoming!

Management are very hard to contact and with many misunderstandings. Having visited 9 months previously we noticed a decline in the repairs and general upkeep, towels and sheets have holes/ stains and water bottles are mouldy. The new coffee machine should be included at breakfast.

Our stay at Reef Edge Inn in Thulusdhoo, Maldives was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The rooms were beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches. The facilities were top-notch, and we especially enjoyed the delicious meals served at the on-site restaurant. The calm and serene atmosphere of the island made our vacation truly relaxing and rejuvenating. We were sad to leave but left with unforgettable memories, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Reef Edge Inn.
