The food provided at all the restaurants was exceptional. Being adults only created an environment of serenity. The activities of snorkelling, massage and fishing were well organised. The transfers from the airport to the resort and back were fast and the boat was always waiting for us. The room was outstanding with wonderful views of the water and fish.

It is nice to get away from technology for few days and this is place for it but unfortunately all communication is done through WhatsApp and there were constant messages with activities bookings, good morning messages, sleep well messages, etc so you could not get away from using your phone for the whole time.

It was simply the trip of our dreams! We loved it from start to finish. The room was beautiful and comfortable, everything worked perfectly, the bathroom was amazing, extremely elegant. The variety of food was wonderful, and the entire staff is incredible, I couldn't praise them enough! All the staff are extremely friendly, polite and capable of meeting all our demands. I would like to especially thank Lisa who was responsible for making us feel like we were in the best place in the world, an exemplary and extremely professional employee. I would also like to thank and praise other employees who helped us from cleaning to restaurant service: Shuruti, Citra, Setal, Jenny, Dilki, Novita, Yangzum and Hadhy, who welcomed us at the airport (I don't remember everyone's name, but they were incredible). The tours offered were also incredible! The highlight was the underwater restaurant, which included a visit from some sharks.

We stayed four days in one of the water villas. Our host Maryam organized everything for us even before we checked in which was a delightful surprise, we had so many wonderful activities, sunset boat ride, fishing tour, massage and more, the island is absolutely stunning and everyone you cross paths with is going to take a moment to say hi, the drinks at the pool are great along with the staff. Restaurant Ylang Ylang is amazing, so many food options, all of it tasty and delicious. Special thanks to all of the restaurant staff especially to Teju, Elin and Citra. The water villa was absolutely stunning, it exceeded our expectations, especially the bathroom and patio with your own access to the ocean. Our housekeeper Koti was amazing, bringing us chocolates every night and keeping our room spotless. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited, the resort is absolutely beautiful.

We spent 2 weeks at Oblu in July 2023 and it was truly magical and we cannot recommend it enough. We actually came for 1 week originally, but loved it so much we extended for another week, which we hope says a lot. We've been to the Maldives 6 times and this was our favourite stay to date. We will be back and will explore other Oblu resorts too. We chose Oblu Lobigili as we had heard great things about Oblu hotels and as it was adults only and a smaller island with a personalised service. We also wanted a resort a speedboat ride away rather than a plane and we were at the resort 2 hours from landing. Everything from the moment we arrived on the island was magical. No request was too much, in fact the team went over and above to make our stay amazing. Things we loved: - The underwater restaurant is a must do. Amazing food and so many fish! - The hotel gym - my husband went every day and said it's one of the best hotel gyms he's ever had. - All staff were so friendly and remembered all our preferences - Food quality was some of best we've had in Maldives - Beautiful part outdoor spa - Villas were new, modern and had lots of nice features - we had the water villa with the pool - It's all inclusive and includes things such as the mini bar which many exclude. - All the extras in all inclusive such as spa treatments and sunset cruises. - It was quiet and we rarely saw other guests Special mention to our villa butler Sara who was truly wonderful and went over and above at all times for us. A true asset to the resort and she was a key reason our stay was so magical. And to Chef Amir in the main Ylang Ylang restaurant who kept us in the best Indian food for 2 weeks. Exceptional food and he cooked off the menu to ensure we had different meals for the whole stay. His care and attention to detail was much appreciated. We are truly sad to leave and we have such beautiful memories.

My wife and I are a young couple from Australia and chose to come to the Maldives for our honeymoon (5 nights). We travel frequently. We chose OBLU Lobiligi for various reasons - amazing prior reviews, free transfer from Male, the fine dining mixture of buffet/ala carte and the resort only catering to couples (no kids allowed). We chose an over water villa with a pool for our stay. Great value for money. Room was a good size, spacious bathroom with breathtaking views of the ocean. The service we received was exceptional. There are no words to describe how awesome our stay was. We travelled in May (off season), I knew there was a chance of rain, however we had wonderful clear blue skys and calm waters. This is a chance we took as the week prior to our stay it rained everyday for 5 days straight - I'm not sure if our experience would have been as good in those conditions. We had a personal hostess who attended to our needs, the food had a variety of cuisine selections - asian, western and indian. Despite being buffet, the meals were different each day with a good amount of variety (breakfast was the same). Every meal replicated going to a fine dining restaurant - except there was no limit on the food or drinks. The food was flavourful and the drink selection was wide. It felt as if there weren't many people on the island, it was very peaceful, quiet and romantic - exactly what we wanted. Inclusions were great (honeymoon benefits and spa). The snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding gear was provided - we used this a lot. We went on the sunset fishing cruise and caught some fish, had a private honeymoon dinner on the beach, but the best experience was the OBLU underwater dining meal. We dined while sharks and a myriad of sealife swam next to our table. If you don't go to other islands or on tours - you don't need a sim card. We got one but wifi was good on the island. We have no regrets and I would highly recommend this resort to couples!!

We are so grateful that we could spend one week at OBLU Select Lobigili - this was a dream place and truly the best leisure vacation we have ever had! The whole Team is extremely welcoming and professional, from picking us at the airport, through welcoming us at the island, making sure our villa is always clean and tidy, to providing the best service in restaurants and bars. The amazing thing is that what you see on photos, is what you get in reality. The resort is only one year old (we were fortunate to celebrate this marvelous milestone with the Team) and everything is fresh and new. The whole Team goes always the extra mile so that you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest - and it is entirely up to you if you want to have active vacation (many trips are included in the LOBI Plan - all inclusive plan) or leisure vacation on the beach, by the pool (with stunning sunset views) or at the spa, which is of a world class quality. We are thankful to our hostess Kate, who made our vacation unforgettable with amazing attention to detail. We came to Maldives to celebrate our anniversary and Kate and the Team ensured we could celebrate it to the fullest. Our private romantic dinner on the beach was experience on its own and we would recommend it to anyone celebrating any special occasion. During our 7-night stay we could experience many different dining options. There is a huge variety of places you can dine and all the dishes we had were simply extraordinary. The resort is designed in such way that it never feels crowded. Everyone can find their space and privacy, be it at the dining places, by the beach or by the pool. We never had issue to enjoy our stay in private and cozy manner. If you want to have the best vacation in Maldives ever, OBLU Select Lobigili is a must!

A holiday to celebrate being together for 40 years and what a fabulous place to do this. We had a water villa with pool which was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our hostess Kate ensured that we had everything we needed and was always at the end of the phone. The spa treatments were incredible and the snorkeling around the resort was good and kit was available free of charge if you didn’t have your own. So much choice for breakfast and lunch and the food was plentiful and fresh. Sadly, the only let down were the dinner options. Very limited and repetitive. The same could not be said for the underwater restaurant which was fabulous in every way. With the plan you are entitled to one visit, however, it was so good that we chose to have our last evening there. Having the pool at the villa was a big plus as the weather was very hot and it was great to take a dip to cool down. It also allowed us to have a floating breakfast which was way beyond our expectations and kept us fed all day. I can highly recommend this resort – a true 5 star experience.

The dinners were limited

AI package was superb and the staff were mostly female and very friendly and accommodating, apart from the guy manning the water sports hut who just couldn’t care less and really lets the resort down. The underwater restaurant was particularly impressive and the food was Michelin level with paired wines for each course, a really special meal. Must also mention the beds which were incredibly comfortable and I wanted to steal the pillows they were so good!

The Swing bar was really ugly and devoid of atmosphere, more like a sports bar than a 5* resort. It needs a complete re-do as it definitely misses the mark. Getting into the sea is difficult as the shore is covered in very sharp coral and the reef isn’t great. Having said that we saw loads of different fish and multiple shark sitings every time we snorkelled which was great.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here recently and oh my what an experience! We were initially planning to go to a different island but couldn’t find flights for our dates. I’m glad we ended up coming here! Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the lovely hostesses - Lisa. Champagne on arrival and she gave us a tour of the island. This is one of those places where #NoFilter! Everything is just so perfect and beautiful. Our overwater bungalow was so beautiful with direct access to the water. We spent our mornings snorkelling and swimming! We also did deep ocean snorkelling and our guide Rishy was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife was nervous at the start and he guided her the entire time! Oh did I mention the biggest underwater restaurant in Maldives - OnlyBlu? My gosh, you need to book this place (complementary if you stay 4 nights and above ie. honeymoon package). It’s too hard to describe the experience, you will have to be there and understand it! We are sad to leave the island but would 100% recommend everyone to visit here! Thanks again Oblu Select and Lisa/Rishy!
