The closeness to Male. The journey from Male airport was superb The staff were outstanding, so friendly, nothing was too much trouble Food was good in all the restaurants

A little tired. Our villa needed some attention, the bath was very tatty, the outside wall of the bathroom was green & in need of a good clean. We had an ant infestation twice. Lampshades in bedroom were cracked

Everything. Heaven on earth. Near the airport. Gorgeous views. A mosque with Jumu'ah prayer. Delicious food. Water was just amazing!

As a Muslim in a Muslim country, I wished the management would have removed the alcohol from my room knowing that a Muslim couple is staying in.

The beachfront villa was beautiful and well-arranged, with stunning clear waters, soft white sand, and perfectly maintained gardens. Cleanliness was exceptional both inside the villa and all around the island. Room service was excellent, and the variety of restaurants made the stay even more enjoyable. I especially loved Café for its Italian dishes, the Arabic Palace for its delicious meals, and Thila for its premium breakfast and amazing desserts at dinner. The staff there were very kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful with my kids. Kandu Bar had a lovely atmosphere, great service, and enjoyable evening activities. The kids’ club was absolutely wonderful, offering a variety of fun daily activities that kept the children entertained and happy. A special thanks to the manager, who was present around the resort, always checking on guests to ensure they were enjoying their stay, and to the head chef and all the hardworking staff.

Honestly, there was nothing significant to dislike. Everything was well-organized and exceeded our expectations.

Everything was perfect. Thank you for an amazing experience in Maldives!!! We were so happy to stay there. Beautiful, cozy, relaxing and fresh flower-smelling island. Thanks to our guide in private tour Ahil, we enjoyed the trip around Maldives, swimming with sharks and dolphins!!

The only thing which annoyed after few days on the island was flights from Male, because it is located very close to the airport

Ease of getting there quickly from the airport for a short relaxing trip. Peaceful beach with allocated loungers. Spacious rooms with large outdoor bathroom and good quality products.

Not the hotel’s fault, but since I visited in 2016 there are ugly high rise building opposite the island which weren’t there before. As a result, I didn’t use the pool or bar and stuck to the other side of the island where I felt it was more picturesque and I was on a secluded island. Being close to the airport, the island is a flight path but I knew these and the ease of location comes at a cost. Most aircrafts were seaplanes and didn’t bother me.

Warm welcome from Resort Manager and team members when we arrived and farewell when we left in heavy storm. Thank you! Beautiful and comfortable room, located direct in front of the beach. Very tasty food at the main restaurant, we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner very much. Very beautiful beach with superb blue and clean water. Good swimming pool. Friendly & helpful staffs especially from the main restaurant, house keeping and reception. Location is good, very near to the airport, easy to reach. Early check-in is possible. Very good check-in experience. Good price.

We came to the Maldives with a last minute plan. Kurumba Hotel welcomed us like family, not just guests. We were treated with incredible care until the last second of our stay. All the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our room, the hotel decor, the restaurants, the beach..everything was beyond perfect. I came with my best friend and we were very pleased. We absolutely loved this place! The boat that brings you to the resort is very nice and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. There were several activities offered daily that you could choose from, or you could just relax if that's what you prefer. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and it was awesome to be so close to the beach from our patio door. This was very convenient since we had a baby with us. Little touches like outdoor faucets outside of the rooms to rinse sand from your feet were really cool to see. The bed was very comfortable and the pack and play to use as a bed for our baby was very nice to have. The bathroom is basically outside (although covered) and allowed you to feel immersed in the island atmosphere. Scuba Diving - This is the cleanest, most organized dive shop I've personally been to. The boat was also very nice with shade from the sun and an onboard restroom. We were lucky enough to have the dive trip to ourselves and was one of the best we've ever experienced. Food - We only ate at the buffet for dinner, since we bought the dinner package. I usually feel buffet meals are average at best, but this was far above average. Especially the breakfast, which we agreed was some of the best breakfast food we'd ever had. Although we didn't eat at any of the other restaurants, we looked at them and they looked breathtaking. Movie night - It was nice that they offered a movie for kids one of the nights. Our baby is only 6 months old, but it was fun to sit in and watch with him for about 20 mixtures.

I felt the price for the transfer from the airport was a bit high since it's only about 10 minutes away from the airport. While the beach and the ocean were stunning, the view of the city across the ocean was a bit unattractive for us. We didn't mind seeing and hearing the airplanes all day, but if you want complete silence, you might not like this.
