Breakfast was good; especially the coffee! Staff was always extra friendly and helpful. I got a chance to meet both the Hotel Manager and the General Manager. I expressed my gratitude for the warm reception I received as well as my appreciation for being allowed to check in early, after a 3 1/2 hour jet ferry boat ride back to Male'. I will definitely stay here again on my next vacation trip to the Maldives in the Fall.

The hotel is suitable for long stays. It was very clean throughout the hotel - from the reception to the rooms. The hotel staff helped with any questions! There were several room options to choose from. I really liked the rooftop terrace - you can drink coffee and sunbathe. great location - 15 meters to the beach and diving center, there are many shops and cafes in the area. Standard breakfast included. Hotel as a compliment made free pay transfer. Also easy to reach hotel by ferry and bus, charge just 1$ for ticket

This property is exactly what you see on the outside, on the inside! You are welcomed by such beautiful reception and amazing colors! Very inviting and friendly staff! They are super helpful. Someone is alway there to help with your luggage too! The guy even came all the way outside to help with my luggage out the taxi. The receptionist- Blessing from Nigeria, is an absolute legend! She is highly professional, friendly, warm and precise! My check in was smooth and seamless. Another gentleman helped me to my room and showed me the facility. The room!!!: By far this has been the best and most comfortable room I have stayed in Malé and Hulhumale! The space is clean, spacious, bright and just purely beautiful. You are welcomed by a GREAT view (if you are on beach front) with many windows. The bathroom is fully equipped with a hairdryer, proper shower, separate toilet (which is not always a thing in Malè). The bed and pillows are SOOOOO comfortable it’s really noticeable! There’s a really good TV and the amenities coffee, tea, water, glasses. The attention to detail in this place is what makes it really exceptional! They serve breakfast and the buffet spread was quite impressive! The staff and chefs are so nice and friendly too! They serve various options to your request. Location: The hotel is literally right in front of the beach! It’s surrounded by many restaurants, bars and shops that are a walk away. This place is really safe and most shops close late in the evening! The sunrise view here is absolutely amazing! Actually the best!

The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. initially there were some hiccups, but they were resolved without much complication. The staff did everything for us in making us happy. Thanks very much.

The TV was not working, but it helps me to stay away from listening to politics. LOL. Oh! and I did not like the setup of the bathroom, not their fault. Just how it is constructed.

There was a complimentary airport pickup and drop. So reaching the hotel was easy. Do mail your time of landing few days in advance. Superb location, on top of the Beach. The suite was a Beautiful one. Overlooking the waters and fabulous panoramic sea view. The attached restaurant has a decent range of items for lunch and dinner with prices not very high. Mail your breakfast preferences in advance. Chicken, eggs will be served. There are numerous dining options nearby. There are marts and departmental stores close by. The AC is not very strong, it was moderate. I think need to servicing. Make sure you leave it on most of the time. The reception staff were so friendly. Overall a pleasant experience. Make sure to communicate with the management before you land to have a smooth experience.

We arrived at The Hive Beach around midnight due to an unexpected transit in Malé, caused by a booking error from our travel agent at Emirates. With my children, including a toddler, spending the night at Malé airport would have been extremely uncomfortable. Thankfully, the hotel staff on the night shift was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our short stay smooth and hassle-free. Though we were there only for a few hours before our flight to Dubai, the service and hospitality made a lasting impression. Highly recommend for anyone needing a comfortable and welcoming stay in Malé!

We had a wonderful stay at Hive Beach with beach-facing and clean room. Room had all necessary amenities and housekeeping was very efficient and always responded quickly to our needs. Complimentary breakfast buffet, was tasty even though rhe options were not a lot. The hotel is walking distance to the Central Park and Ferry station. It has several restaurants, cafés and supermarkets close by. Special mention to Joseph at the reception who was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Even when he did long shifts, he always had a smile on his face while dealing with guests.

Most of our time in the Maldives was spent at a resort on one of the smaller islands, but we spent one night here after our flight arrived and then a second night here before returning home. We asked for a balcony room facing the beach each time. The first time, we had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony big enough for 2 people. The second night we had a room on the second floor with a much smaller balcony. The room was comfortable and we could adjust our A/C. Shower was good. We were walking distance to restaurants and were right on the beach. Breakfast was included in our rate but not with all rates. There was a free shuttle to/from the airport as long as you arranged it ahead of time. This was a key reason for choosing this hotel. Everyone was very friendly. We could not get the specific time of the domestic flight to our resort until the night before. The receptionist called for us (multiple times) so that we could get that information and get back to the airport the next morning at the correct time.

Careful of the lip going into the bathroom since both my husband and I stubbed our toe. The second room had no hot water. They came to fix it before we even knew it was an issue (apparently the previous people complained), and they said it was fixed but it wasn't. Since we were only there 1 night, we didn't bother asking them to come back to try again.

Lovely boutique hotel right opposite the beach. Welcome drink on arrival. Staff very courteous and helpful. Family room with sea view is very spacious and beds are very comfortable. Water available in room free of charge. Lots of restaurants nearby, lots open to eat inside during Ramadan for tourists. Lots of shops and supermarkets close by and feels safe to walk around even at night.

Beautiful and convenient location. Out of the hotel you will be stepping on the to the beach with many restaurants and water sports activities. Deluxe suite was nice and spacious over looking the ocean. The room had a jacuzzi it was not operational but that’s okay we didn’t book the room for that. Staff was really nice and welcoming. Big shout out to Blessing. She helped out of her way to book the place. Had a comfortable stay.
