Nice place! Close to the harbor to catch a surf-boat, good breakfast, comfortable beds, good AC, fridge in the room and a common area to chill. At the moment they are hosting 6 rooms. Contact the owner to organize you a direct boat from the airport to Himmafushi. Thank you for the nice week I had!

Bring mosquito repellent, they are all over the island. The description of the room facilities is not accurate, they just checked all the boxes - but I didn't miss anything.

Ali and Habib made our stay as comfortable as it could get! We had a great variation of breakfasts served every day by Habib, especially the local dish was amazing! Ali organised us a great Snorkelling trip upon request. We felt great looked after, all of our questions got answered and they even took good care of me after I stood on a Sea Urgin.

It be a great service for the traveling surfers if they would organise daily boat trips to the breaks. Because we where just traveling with two it be quite expensive to organise a private boat. And maybe some hammocks or to make the hang out area really chill!

Ali and Habib were absolutely amazing, so helpful and friendly. The cooking was delicious, the bed was so comfortable and air conditioning was so nice and cold. Ali also organised us a fishing trip and we caught a 6kg Yellowfin Tuna that Habib cooked beautifully for us. We would HIGHLY recommend this accommodation. We went to Maldives to shoot a music video for a Bangladesh and Indian production and I found Ati the owner of Molar Wave exceptionally good in terms of arranging everything for us often displaying super human qualities. He worked 24 x 7 with us giving us a very good impression of the people of Maldives. He is an unassuming man but backs a lot of weight behind his words. He is absolutely honest. Like his friends say Ati can solve everything in Maldives and now being his friends we also feel the same. Molar Wave his property in a sleepy village resembling more of Spain or Latin America has paradise like backgrounds for your photo ops. Himmafushi is worth exploring maybe for Christopher Nolan movie. The guesthouse is reasonably priced, had the right vibes, cool, eclectic and has hardworking staff. I suggest you don't go to the private islands as they are a bit artificial to me. For a day trip they are fine. Explore real Maldives from the den of Ati. After our trip we feel we need to comeback to Molar Wave and that would be like revisiting a place of our own folks who would recognise me after years, a home away from home, in the deep ocean, pristine like heaven. Great guys., super accommodating. The place is chill and comfy place and basically has everything one needs. Only thing missing would be a bicycle or two to go for a quick surf check as the break is not the closest but locals are super friendly and often offer a ride, so...

Great place to stay if you are surfing on the island and nearby breaks. Ayya is a nice host, will organize boats or anything else you need. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. Close to the restaurants, everything is walkable. Would definitely stay again 🤙🏼

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very well run friendly hotel. Breakfast was really good. It was different every morning. We had pancakes one day, Dahl curry another, eggs etc another. The man making the breakfast was always friendly and made breakfast when you wanted it Love the huge tree that the house is built around Rooms are great Himmafushi is quiet but feels more local than many islands. I mean this in a good way. There is a Bangladeshi run street restaurant just around the corner which is really good, the shipyard to explore, a decent bikini beach, a street with parrots outside, little souvenir shops, family run bakeries and ice cream shops, the sound of the call to prayer. A good local experience

The staff are incredible. Amazing free breakfast every day, and the dinners they cook were the best we had on the whole island. They went above and beyond our entire stay, and made Himmafushi instantly feel like home- and even let us stay in our room far past checkout time before we had to catch the ferry back to Male.

We like everything. The host Ali was extremely nice and helpful, he helped us with transportation of and to airport. He also arranged for us fishing and surfing for a good price. The chef prepared us the best breakfast each day. We were very pleased with the stay. Hope to come back soon.
