The town itself is wonderful and well worth a visit. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The host was very responsive which was welcome. It is very central to explore the old part of town.

Couple of minor points. I would have liked their introductory email to explain a bit about the address/nature of the parking. The local parking spot, which is recommended, is free after 5pm to 9am, but then you need to feed the meter. Our French is not fantastic and it took a while to work this out. I'd have welcomed the wifi code being included in the introductory email too, plus being displayed more prominently in the bedroom area. Maybe make the location of the spare toilet roll a bit more obvious (but this is probably my lack of observation)! Tiny points which would be easily addressed and make future visitors happier.

Not really their fault but there was roadwork leading up to the apartment so the directions Googlemaps was giving wasn't working and it was difficult to find a nearby parking slot The hot water in the shower ran out quite quickly, there should be more hooks in the bathroom to hang up the towels. The lighting can be improved, there was only overhead lighting in the bathroom and a lamp near the mirror in the bedroom would have been nice

A lovely room and bathroom. Excellent location for restaurants and sightseeing. Parked for free at Parking Anatole France and wheeled overnight bags for less than 10 minutes.

There was an overwhelming smell of some kind of chemical cleaner/polish in the room. We had to open the windows until bedtime. Have stayed here before and this was not a problem. Heater had an error message when switched on but duvet was warm!! It was too late to call anyone so we snuggled up.

Beautiful stylish apartment in an historic town centre location. Extremely comfortable and spacious. Easy car parking nearby. Host was wonderful when (due to our stupidity/tiredness ) we had to ring to get assistance with the access door (there was a “knack” to opening the street door). Would stay again if in Bourges. Also very good value. Huge comfortable bed and also a separate sitting room with TV. Petite kitchen and shower room but all charmingly equipped.

The things I love were all here. Original features : lovely stained and oiled floorboards, original doors and marble fireplace, lovely main stairs ( especially interesting curved steps to first floor) and chunky stripped oak? banisters. Also liked the modern design touches with older furniture. Comfortable good-sized bed with white cotton sheets and decent pillows. Spacious and quiet in spite of its central position. Very easy access with street door code and key safe to room. The place was obviously freshly decorated and everything new and spotless. A surprise bonus was a well-equipped shared kitchen area with table and all you would need to prepare a meal if you wanted. Sorry we were only staying one night. Position couldn't be improved on for visiting the town, eating out etc. We will be back. We parked in Cours Anatole France which is free and a short and lovely walk away through the Cathedral Precinct if you can carry you bags easily.

2 bedside lamps and tables would have been an improvement.

Elegantly presented apartment in an old building. Creaky boards, big comfortable bed and good bathroom. Ladies will love it. Nice coffee machine.

Kitchen not conducive to eating in, limited crockery for food preparation even breakfast.

The facilities were clean. The room had nice decorations and bathroom was spacious.

With check-in at 4pm and check-out at 10am it felt a bit squeezed in terms of timing, especially early check out, which didn’t allow to enjoy our holiday breakfast.

Beautifully appointed, generously sized room in heart of old part of this lovely city. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Extremely convenient for sight seeing, restaurants etc. yet tranquil and quiet at night.

Parking was a bit of a challenge arriving late evening but next morning there were plenty of spaces (metered but not expensive) very close by. On another visit I'd make sure we arrived in good time to get parked easily.

Lovely furnishings and a homely, cheerful look. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Good location. Really nice room that smelled of polish and care.

I couldn’t work out how to use the coffee machine and there was no kettle to make any tea. The lights over the bed are very bright so would have appreciated reading lights. There is a noisy bar round the corner but maybe that’s because the rugby was on.
