This is a return visit for us to this hotel with its friendly reception staff, good-sized rooms (we had a balcony again) and parking possible on the street around the hotel. Again we were tempted by the reasonably-priced evening meal (4 courses and house wine). The buffet of starters is a meal in itself and the restaurant staff are excellent. The buffet breakfast is included in the room price, the beach (soft sand with a few patches of crushed seashells) is on the doorstep, and the town centre (with its helpful Tourist Office) is only a 15 minute walk away, so I can see us staying here again in the not-too-distant future!

At first, I liked the ad and the price. And it seemed to have a view to the sea - but ads are sometimes misleading. Anyway, upon arrival, the staff was not particularly helpful. It was obviously annoying that there were guests checking in late - and then also with a car, which should go in the underground garage. Why can't guests be more considerate of when they arrive ? When given the key to the room, the look in the room quite at first glance was "oh, crap - another rundown place with the sink in the bathroom being broken, the paint on the walls being from the past century and the frige in the room most probably not working". When getting the lights on (which needed a special key) it was also obvious that the furniture had seen its first appearance in the room decades ago. But - lets now come to the really important stuff. When going out on the balcony of the room, it was not only nicely done, private and with the view I remembered from the ad - I also heard the Adriatic sea, even though the wind speed was very light. Cool surprise ! The floor tiling on the balcony, btw, was an excellent Italian 150 x 40 cm tile - should I do a tiled balcony back home, I would have been delighted to choose a similar quality. Sitting out on the balcony enjoying a water from my bag became a really cool experience. From the balcony the big pool was also visible.Coming out of the hotel for an evening walk, it suddenly became obvious why the ad for the hotel had said nothing about parking houses nearby - because the top modern beach boardwalk with new Italian pizza restaurants with sea view seating on open roof terraces and white cloth places like we all like the style of Italy's food places, was right opposite the hotel. I mean - 55 casual steps away from the hotel entrance. Did I enjoy the setting ? Wonderful. And the beach boardwalk went straight into the heart of the old town too. So cool ! In fact, I left with a clear impression that I would return someday !

Definitely a good find! The hotel is right by the beach and the receptionist was friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our room was a good size, on the 4th floor, and had a big balcony facing the sea on one side and a play area on the other. Parking was on-street around the hotel and we were given a permit by the receptionist. We were tempted by the evening menu at the hotel restaurant - a 4 course meal for a very reasonable price. The buffet of starters was extensive - our plates were soon full! The rest was just as tasty. Then next morning we had the buffet breakfast - again a good range of choices, including scrambled eggs. With the beach on the doorstep and the 'old town' of Faro about 10 minutes drive away. the Hotel Peticari is somewhere we'll definitely choose again!

Great price for night and strategic location in Pesaro. That's why we chose this hotel for our short stay. Hotel is also pet friendly. We arrived with our dog and all was fine. Rooms were clean, but beds not as comfy. Breakfast was limited, if you don't prefer sweet options, but if you prefer Italian breakfast, there were many choices. If the staff were more smiling, I would give a much better rating.

Perfect. Clean, polite, fast service, good breakfast with buffet served by the staff (no self). Room received better than the booked one. Sea view, double bed, balcony. Lift available. Check in hours very long. Fantastic

At the desk there were a strange and illegal poster which said 'only cash for the town hall tax', but they made me pay this tax by card as usual without even asking for it

Unbeatable location and the off-season price. Excellent choices for breakfast. Friendly and professional staff.

Somewhat tired rooms. Walls in the room screamed for a fresh paint and there was mold in the bathroom.

Good location, very friendly staff, good food for breakfast, plenty of choice. I had a bedroom with a balcony with a view on the sea. The view was amazing!

The bedroom was too cold. It's definitely too cold, and I caught the cold because of that.

The room was a bit drafty (we stayed in early March and it was cold with strong winds from the sea).

Breakfast was wonderful and there were plenty of choices of pastries, ham, cheese, salumi, cereali, fruit, yogurt, and juice, etc. Parking right in front was easy due to off season. On the beach, great view, nice biking and walking path. Quiet room clean.
