Very beautiful and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The neighborhood is lovely with a parc and a lake very closeby (5 min walk). Good restaurants on walking distance. It’s a 10min drive from the city center. Rooms are very comfy, modern, clean. You get bathrobes and slippers. Good AC, good wifi, very comfy beds and pillows.

Modern hotel in a beautiful city. The hotel is an updated building with all modern amenities enclosed within a colonial-era structure. The neighborhood is a wonderful collection of old mansions that were, in their day, considered grand. The adjoining restaurant is outdoor with a covered area, so in spite of the pouring rain, we enjoyed a nice breakfast. The restaurant opens at 8 am, which is great for those of us who are early risers. The staff in the hotel are warm and friendly, and they offer a shot of tequila or whiskey when you arrive - nice touch. The bed was super comfy, big screen tv, frig, coffee maker, microwave, snacks, and drinks in the room for purchase.

The Wifi was slow at times, but when it rains in Mexico sometimes this seems to always slow down

The hotel is beautiful and in a nice quiet location. We enjoyed the views, the beautiful room and the nice ambiance of the hotel. It was very special to be in a refurbished mansion and experience the history of Guanajuato from outside the city center!

I didn't feel that the staff was very accommodating. When issues arose it was assumed that they would be fixed but no compensation was offered nor an apology for the inconvenience. We lost power which meant we had a whole day and night in the dark with no electricity. I understand that this was out of the hotels ability to control, however, there was a section of the hotel that did still have power and we were not moved to another room. The staff did not offer us lights, candles, or fans during this time. I did not expect much but being in such a nice hotel I did expect the staff to be more accommodating.

We were greeted by staff at the front desk who cheerfully fixed my mistake. Our rooms were beyond what the photos show. We were greeted with a shot of Tequila and staff drove us to a restaurant and then picked us up. They had to make 3 trips each way for all of us. I can't say enough kind words to the front counter staff. We were all hugging them when left. This is a stunning hotel with a nice restaurant next door. We're staying longer next time. This place is beautiful.

The hotel was beautifully decorated upon first entering and the reception was easy to find. Eduardo, the concierge, was very welcoming and friendly and helped us with everything. The hotel was quiet throughout and our room had a lovely little balcony with stunning views of the overlooking mountains. The area around the hotel was quiet, and it was only a 20 minute walk to the centre of Guanajuato. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was fantastic, and our waiter was superb. There is a 20% discount for hotel guests at the restaurant which must be praised.

Beautiful and spacious room. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it a lot. The bed is really comfy. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I don’t speak Spanish so the front desk lady helped make a phone call on my behalf to address my needs. She also offers to help store our luggage and our car because it’s difficult to drive and park in Guanajuato.

The room is just by the hotel lobby. We were waken up by guests chatting in the lobby and couldn’t sleep.

I liked that all of your workers are very attentive, professional and they have very nice manners. Starting with Eduardo, which he was really welcoming.. very informative and very attentive, we will go back just cause of Eduardo, also Beatriz Reyes was a very nice and helpful lady. Also you security guys, they where very profesional, respectful and very helpful.

That our TV did not work, but I didn’t make a big deal about it, Because I went for a vacation not to watch TV. Also, please check your irons, they all drip lots of water and wet all your clothes, but again, I didn’t really care, it’s was water, it dries fast..😃

Hotel is very nice has great architecture and good location. Very close to la presa and across the street from one of the top 30 bars in Mexico.

Great hotel overall. Great if you like to walk takes about 30 minutes to walk to the historic center of the city. Room was a bit small but not a huge issue.

Very charming older building with style and updated. Lovely outdoor restaurant with good service and food. Would stay again. Out of city center and a bit quieter. Spa lovely!

Ask for the hot water to be turned on. Bathroom gorgeous but wasted water waiting for hot water it is not on when you enter the room. Only problem we had. Very lovely in every other way.

The Staff were extremely accommodating and beautiful notes in each room. Our whole stay in your beautiful Mexico was wonderful, happy, safe and welcoming. This hotel is exceptional! And shuttle rides to the restaurant and back for 15 of us was very impressive.
