We always stay here when we come to Oaxaca from Puerto becuase of the ease of access and car park. We can easily walk to the centre or take a cheap cab, without having to deal with parking in the centre. The bedroom is always fine - adequate pillows, comfy beds, oldish towels. In the evening the water was not very hot but in the morning it was better. The maintenance staff are always very friendly.

The reception staff are always very cold. I always get a better greeting from the guys cleaning the pool or those in the restaurant. However we continue to stay here because of the easy access and parking option.

It was beautiful. I love the pool and restaurant next to it. Menu was good. The lobby was welcoming and staff were friendly. We were there for Day of the Dead so the vibrant decorations were reflective of that.

I wish they had more hooks in the bathroom and bedroom. When multiple persons stay in the room and it’s expected to reuse towels, we need hooks to hang them to dry. I like using hooks to hang purses, hats and coats instead of throwing them on the chair or bed. The location is about a 15 min walk to the center depending how fast you walk. We would have stayed closer to town but hotels were filled.

I do pet transport in Mexico and the US and have to go to Oaxaca for work a lot. Finally found this place on one of my trips and this is now my favorite hotel in Oaxaca! The staff is fantastic. The property is beautiful! Safe parking....safe everything! Easy access to get in and out of Oaxaca when traveling by car and just a short walk from Centro! Very clean and comfortable! The food is great! I reallly appreciate this place every time I have to go to Oaxaca for work or just for fun! Did I mention how great the peopel who work there are? See you all soon!

Not a single complaint!

Patio and pool were very relaxing and loved by the kids; having the restaurant available when we didn't want to go out later in the evening; attractive buildings and landscaping; very helpful people at reception and housekeeping. We also liked the fact that many of the clients were multigenerational Mexican families. A good family hotel.

While some commentators were bothered by traffic noise from the periferico, we did not find it loud or bothersome. We didn't really have any complaints.

The amenities and place are formidable. We were really near the central part (not enough to go by foot, because we have 2 kids), but indeed is really accessible.

Last day, I had to give the car keys to the vallet, due to the amount of cars in parking lot. When I was getting it, it was outside the hotel, with a scratch in the door. Living 3 years in Mexico, this was the first time I left the car with a vallet, and this happened. Also, they do not have a juice jar in the restaurant menu. When my wife asked for it, they said that they could do it, but they charged the amount of cups that can fit in the jar. This resulted in a orange juice jar costing more than 460 MXN. Not even a clericot jar can reach this value!

Great property, with classic jallosy windows, well-maintained and quiet. Rooms were large and clean, reception was tentative and welcoming. Pool looked really clean, but right next to the restaurant (good to sit eat and let your friends/family play in it!). Housekeeping was REALLY friendly and efficient, as well. Not in a walkable area (near highway and kind of industrial area), but is easy to find for Didi or Rappi if you need a ride.

Nothing, everything was as expected, or exceeded expectations. From welcoming, check-in, the stay, cleanliness, to check out. Staff were very kind and helpful at the front desk, the bellhop, and housekeeping! No complaints or notes.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. The decor was a little dated but it was in no way a deal breaker. The food was very good & not too expensive at all. Some great local dishes on offer. It was so good to be able to cool off in the pool after a long day walking the city. And they really decorated the foyer & restaurant areas beautifully for Day of the Dead, adding to the size of the offering shrine each day. I would definitely stay again!

If you’re sensitive to noise, you could hear traffic from the busy main road but with earplugs in, I slept soundly.

Stayed here for Day of the Dead, and location was very close to el centro. Maybe 1-2km walk to downtown, or just a quick cab ride. The rooms were quiet and well furnished. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, always greeting us with smiles and very helpful. The restaurant makes yummy food with very quick service, and they also have room service (however, we didn't use that, lol). The pool was a nice touch, but with Day of the Dead festivities, we just didn't have time to try it.....maybe next time, lol. All in all, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time at "the Hacienda" ❤️

The only thing we would like to see changed is the addition of a mini fridge in the rooms. Oaxaca is quite warm, and it would be nice to have cold water on hand all the time. Other than that, we had a great stay!! 😊

The pool area and the location (within 20 min walk to the city centre) were great. The staff was very helpful with ordering Taxis for us.

The food at the restaurant is not great. It lacked a lot of flavour. Our room was close to the entrance and you could heat the other guests passing by constantly. It can be a little bit noisy during the nights.

Walking distance from downtown, safe walk. I loved the place, has beautiful gardens. I took lots of pictures to show my traditional outfits

the only thing is that there was a small noise on the air conditioner that's wouldn't let me sleep and they were not able to fix it. It was almost unnoticed, but I can hear EVERYTHING
