Maria Ines Hotel is super convenient for early morning flights. It's about 5 minutes to the airport. Getting into the city center is not difficult. The hotel staff told us which red & white car (colectivo) to take and it cost $12 Mex Pesos (less than a dollar). A private taxi back to the hotel after a day in the center was about 200 pesos ($11 USD). The rooms are super clean and comfortable. There's a restaurant next door that serves really good pizza so if you're just in transit and don't want to go back into Oaxaca, you can grab a bite there before bed (and get leftovers wrapped in foil for the flight!). The staff was super friendly and helpful. This was my second stay at this hotel for my return trip home and I'll stay again in the future! *If you're planning a few days in Oaxaca, a spot in the center is likely a better option.

The property itself was very nice, and the restaurant was enjoyable. The young men who helped greet people, helped with luggage , cleaning staff were very nice and made us feel valued.

The front desk staff was nice but confusing and unorganized, unclear when we rented for two extra nights. They didn’t actually reserved them but we thought they had. Fortunately I double checked and found out they had only verified the room was available. No one told me I needed to come back and pay. I thought it was reserved and they would charge my existing card. Poor communication on several issues. We could have easily had no room because the hotel filled up. Overall, I would stay there again. But would double check what the front desk does.

Good value for money. Clean. Beds comfortable. Fantastic air conditioning, very quiet and effective. Pool great for cooling off, has a decent size. Our rooms faced the back and not the front, which faces a major road with traffic, although I think those were also pretty quiet. The hotel is not far from the city centre and we walked to the centre in the morning and took a taxi in the evening to get there. Taxis are everywhere and cost about 80-100 pesos.

Massive rooms, super clean. I LOVE the Blasón filter coffee. Only a 15-20 walk to Centro. The gym is tiny, probably only fits 2 people in but.... They have a nice variety of dumbbells. The photo only shows a bit of cardio equipment but actually tbey have lots of dumbbell up to 50lb

Although they provide little bottles of water in the room, there's no where to refill your own water bottle. Which would be convenient, and also more environmentally friendly.

The staff was friendly and the parking was included. The view over the city was nice too from our balcony. The breakfast was tasty and fresh.

The acoustics of the hotel just wasn't great. The gap between the door and the floor was too great, and anyone talking in the hallway just came through the door. The bed was a bit too hard for our liking. The blackout curtains don't reach the floor, which means early morning. The light comes through the bottom part.

Very friendly atmosphere.Comfortable and clean rooms.

The only thing my husband and I disliked was at the restaurant the "Capi" changed the channel thinking about himself and not the customers.As he was decorating he looked for a channel he liked and not what customers would be interested in .:/

Big rooms, very comfortable. Nice view. Staff was very helpful. The pool is clean and surrounded with plants, so it was a nice thing to come back to after a long day, even though there is some noise coming from the road below.

It is a little bit out of town right by a big road that is not easy to cross. The restaurant (including breakfast) is better avoided - food is subpar especially for Oaxaca, and there is no atmosphere

Location was good for us room was large Quiet location was nice staff was friendly and helpful

Was disappoint with the food over all and not just your restaurant as we had been to Mexico before whilst our son was working in Mexico

Great location, grat view of the city from my room, excellent breakfast, attentive staff and beautiful design and decorations. Great value as well.

The pathway to get into the hotel while driving is a little awkward.

Amazing breakfast buffet, clean and comfortable room. Friendly service. Nice views from the room. Complimentary jamaica (hibiscus water) in the lobby.

In-room hairdryer did not work. Pool was advertised as heated but was not, and had a lot of leaves/plant debris. They should label that only one of the elevators goes to the 7th floor.
