Breakfast was great.Reception and chalet’s always excellent.What’s happened to the farmyard animals?🤔Not that this is your problem,but turning right into your property coming from Khatu is always a bit nerve wracking.On the last two occasions we have had people passing on the right coming from three cars back as you slow down to turn. Sooner or later one of your guests is going to turn and then be side swiped by an idiot impatient driver …..but sadly that is the way South Africans drive these days🤬🤬🤬🙂 Once again as always a very pleasant experience staying at your establishment.

This was a great place to break up our long distance travels, and ended up being very lovely, where we would have stayed longer! Great apartments, beautiful furniture and spaces in rooms, comfortable beds and extra blankets for cold evenings. Plenty of added convenient kitchen items in the rooms, including complimentary tea and coffee. Wonderful restaurant. The reserve has walking and driving trails around, though we didn't see much.

Just to be extra careful please look up security at main road through the nature reserve as it was easy to tailgate through the sliding gate which we saw behind us I must stress that there is excellent security around the entire residential area and no need for concern

The check-in was super fast. Only needed to fill in 3 spaces, the 2 bedroom chalet was spacious and had aircon. It also had blockout curtains. There is soap in a dispenser in the shower as well as next to the wash basin. There was a small container with milk as well as coffee/tea/sugar etc sachets. The staff was very friendly and super helpfull. Breakfast is a buffet setup and dinner was a-la-carte with a salad and bread bar. The food in the restaurant was very nice and up to standard.

Hospitality - from both owner and staff. Accommodating attitude - included all guests in viewing of rugby test match. Good food, comfortable bed, quality linen. Best positioned between AisAis and OR Tambo!

The horizontal timber beam at the foot of the rustic bed frame which i repeatedly bashed my shin on.

We have been twice and will undoubtedly return. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant waitrons have good table-waiting etiquette. Restaurant had a good choice of dishes and breakfast selection is excellent. Chalet was clean and homely, impressed that the towels are large, bed and pillows comfortable. I loved the local wildlife population even if I couldn't identify them all - comprising Alpacas(?), a horse and pony duet, a white impala (?), a dark melanistic Impala (?), a cat and loads of indigenous birds.

I raised the issue with the receptionist that there were disrespectful patrons on business phone calls and one vexedly loud guest on a TEAMS call to 4 other people - all of whom could heard throughout the restaurant during breakfast. I get that the venue is a hotspot for business people, and its probably a main income source but, as a paying guest, with as much right as the business guests, I DO NOT want to hear their conversations. I hope that Red Sands will implement a policy to prevent this abhorrent behaviour in future!!

This was our 2nd stay and we had a family cottage this visit. It was spacious, well equipped, sparkling clean and had a great view. The restaurant is very good. Dinner was great, and the breakfast good. I would definitely recommend the family cottages.

Very good location, beautiful scenery and surroundings. Chalets absolutely stunning with all you needed, clean and comfortable. Restaurant excellent with good prices and quality food. Staff so friendly and even gave us a hand with our little one to enjoy breakfast.

Very limited grass and shade around the swimming pool

It is a very quiet and peaceful place with beautiful Llamas to watch from your porch. Many bird species and you can take a drive to watch zebra and other buck. The cottage is clean and equipt with everything you may need. Crisp and good linen on comfortable bed. Restaurant with really good breakfast included. Friendly staff and hosts. The chalet was clean and well appointed. I arrived in the late afternoon so I couldn't explore the property, but my chalet had a nice view. The restaurant served delicious meals and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend the property for an overnight stay.
