Great location, tastefully decorate and well equiped rooms. Very helpful staff and parking on site was a bonus. Pool area lovely.

The pool area was lovely but we noticed people were ‘claiming’ chairs from early in the morning by putting items on them even when they were not in the pool area. Some signage encouraging reasonable shared use might help.

Centrally located, exceptionally clean, nice views from the balcony and rooftop terrace, and the pool area was a great spot to hang out and relax.

I arrived after hours and had to enter a passcode where you would normally swipe a key card to enter. It took me some time to figure it out as it’s not very obvious that there are numbers on the pad. Maybe some additional instructions for late check-ins could be helpful for others in the future!

This hotel is wonderful. We were not expecting the beautiful views, cool pool and sun area, private balcony and the big bed. The room had air con and good bedding, a very nice shower and safe. The private balcony was wonderful in the evening when it was cooler. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but the room had a mini fridge and coffee machine which was replenished daily. We borrowed plates and cutlery. If you visit, bring your own shampoo if you don't like an all-in-one. Staff is very friendly and open, and can help with any questions. Location is great, just above the main busy streets so it's not noisy, but near the action. 7 minute walk to lovely beaches, and around the corner from coffee shops and tapas.

We loved everything about this small hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained and it was a short walk to all the bars, restaurants and the balcony. The pool area was lovely and the roof terrace had wonderful views. We would definitely return to this wonderful hotel and would highly recommend to all future visitors

Nothing really. The only thing it needed was more parasols around the pool area (the lady on reception said that they were awaiting a delivery of more parasols soon) and a shaded area on the roof terrace.

unbelievably clean and tidy, well kept. Brilliant sized room for the value, great location. Staff very helpful and always remember your name - a nice touch! I was anxious as first ever solo trip overseas alone, and I’ll definitely feel confident again to do more in the future. Coming from the UK, I couldn’t find enough reviews in my opinion about the safety, cleanliness to balance my expectations. So in an attempt to help others - this is better quality than a holiday inn, premier inn, or indeed many Hilton’s in the UK these days (granted they’re still nice in most of mainland Europe but the older ones are pretty rancid in the UK now). This is fantastic quality for the price, solo room, solo toilet and shower, solo balcony. Incredibly safe feeling, very clean. I wouldn’t actually go to a more upmarket hotel in the area now as this was perfect.

Ideally yes there would be some form of food available, but I genuinely didn’t find that too difficult. I ate a larger meal at lunch and got snacks and drinks to take back at night and enjoyed earlier nights than usual, meaning earlier swims and early morning enjoyment whilst the town wakens up. Maybe a vending machine or something would be helpful, though there may have been one and I didn’t notice.

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of town. Very clean, comfortable room. We had a balcony overlooking the pool /scenery and it was beautiful. Staff friendly, check in/out process super easy. Comfortable bed, great AC for a hot day. Lovely shower and a really great hairdryer! Easy to use safe and mini fridge stocked with water for us Next time, I would take advantage of their €15 parking offer as we paid €22 elsewhere

I don’t particularly like hair/body wash in one. No conditioner. But I expect this in Spain so no surprise. Hangers are the annoying ‘don’t steal me’ type

Our second visit to VG and once again it didn’t disappoint, a lovely welcome from Paco on reception and we were swiftly booked in and given our room keys. Everything about this place is fabulous, the rooms are big and airy, all areas of the hotel are spotless (they are constantly cleaning!) its centrally based so great to access all the great restaurants and bars. The pool area is lovely and quiet, a great place to catch some rays and has a lovely pool (though it is a little chilly) Great value for money too, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else now we have found this place !

What’s not to like

Loved everything about our stay. From the time we checked in it was brilliant. The staff were just so nice and helpful. Especially Paco he is just so helpful and has great English which is a bonus. What can I say as we travel a lot now I've gotten to know a lot about what to expect. This hotel is absolutely perfect. Location on the street but very quiet at night. Can't say enough about the cleanliness the bedding was so fresh as were the towels. Housekeeping every day. The double bed was extra wide. 💯 Thanks again Paco and staff. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely nothing.

We've been coming to Nerja for over 30 years and always looking for new places to stay. We were recommended by some friends. Liked everything about the property. If I was being picky the sunbathing area was in shade after 5pm!! I have previously thought that that end of town was a bit out of the way, but our recent stay has really changed our minds.

We loved the hotel! The location was just perfect, everything you could possibly need is just a short walk away - restaurants, bars, grocery store, bus station, beach. Even with such a central loction, the hotel was super quiet, no road noise and you could hardly hear anyone else. The room is clean and cozy, as well as the common rooms. For us, the bed was the best thing - super comfortable and wide. We had the room with the terrace, such a great choice since you have a quick access to the sunbeds and the pool, which is not heated but perfect for a refreshing swim! Last but not least, the staff is amazingly helpful. They also offer beach towels and umbrella for a sunny day at the beach. We are definitely coming back and will recommend to anyone who plans a holiday in Nerja!
