Well located, close to the beaches, in a relatively quiet area (at least in Feb it was quiet). Nice roof terrace, swimming pool tiny though. A car park for 1 euro per night is at the back of Mercadona - it's just over 5 min walk. In the end it's a way better option than an expensive car park pretty close to the property.

Quite a few rooms have 'internal' window/windows only - facing internal glass-covered stair case/patio (no actual fresh air). If you are looking just for a place to sleep (as opposed to a room where you want to spend some time in), it is absolutely ok though.

The architecture of this hotel is just unbelievable! The pub and restaurant were amazing as well. I could not be more satisfied with this hotel! Very helpful staff at the reception. Definitely I will come back!!! Regarding my feeling about this place maybe would be enough if I would say, I had a plan for my 9 nights round trip in Andalusia and I booked only 1 night here, but when I got the keys and walked around the hotel ecspecially the rooftop... I cancelled the next day accomodation (which was paid already) and booked one more night here, because I did not want to leave after one night. If I could give 10 stars instead of the max 5, I would!!! 10/10 I already miss this Hotel... I will come back! I highly recommend it!

We arrived after reception close. The self check in instructions were clear and accurate. This accommodation gave us the feeling of this is Spain! The location was excellent - I cannot recommend it enough. The reception staff were so lovely when I asked to stay for an extra night.

There is nothing I didn’t like about this property. Some may say the accommodation is not modern - but I say it’s authentic, clean, excellent facilities e.g microwave, refridgerator, equipped kitchenette.it had an amazing ‘vibe’ which aligned with Nerja!

Well located and well stocked apartment with everything you need kitchen wise and the room is large with an inner courtyard giving good light into the room. Pool and terrace located on roof one floor above and there is good open air parking 5 mins walk across the road (20 euros/day). Very professional though friendly Receptionist speaks excellent English and was keen to assist with everything and made us feel very welcome to Pepe Mesa Apartments.There is also a Bar/Restaurant downstairs which looked good and not noisy inside or interfered with room amenity on floors above.

There were rooms under renovation on our floor (early April 2024 after Easter)the first floor, as well as other areas which meant it was hard to rest in the afternoon, but workers didn't start until 10am and finished by 5pm...it has to happen sometime and I guess the off-peak times are best before the summer. Not too much inconvenience.

If I had seen the messages and emails explaining how to use the key safe it would have gone much better! Nice rooms, all a little different, provided with just about everything you might need, not too many stairs if you are on the first floor, terrace on the roof and small swimming pool would be lovely in the right weather but a lot more stairs for anyone less mobile. Frequent change of linen etc which was more often than necessary for a very short stay! Very clean, reception open limited hours and very friendly. English spoken but will help if you speak some Spanish. There is a restaurant and bar under the apartments which was unfortunately closed while we were there, but there is no shortage of alternatives in the area and within a short walk. The town car park is very convenient just across the road through an alley but it is expensive, street parking is not possible and drop off only outside the apartments as it is a single width road. Rooms at the front will get more noise in high season, and there is a bar opposite. Some rooms open onto small courtyards which are shared with other rooms. Small complimentary toiletries provided. Most rooms have an easy chair as well as table and chairs and a variety of bed arrangements from double to two singles or 2 pushed together. Bathrooms have a low bath of varying sizes and a shower over them, worth knowing for anyone having trouble getting in or out. Overall very good, comfortable, clean, convenient and excellent value.

Really friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant below the apartments. The restaurant food and ambience was amazing. Tapas were freshly made and tasted delicious. Could not fault anything about the apartments or location at all. Only a 5 min walk to the Balcon and shops and walks along the beach. Would highly recommend these apartments.

Nothing could have been better.

The location is fantastic, the reception lady is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms include everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are firm but comfortable. The shower is very powerful and shower gel/body wash is provided. The rooms are cleaned every other day which was perfect for us. The hotel is on a road but the traffic noise didn't disturb us too much even though we had one of the front rooms pictured. The music at the resturaunt below and bar opposite wasnt overly loud and had finished finished by midnight each night. We will definitely stay again.

The pool was closed even though the weather was very hot, but this is seasonal so we were aware before visiting that it would be closed.

The excellent customer service and helpful staff along with the daily cleaning regime by the lovely helpful and friendly team. The location is perfect for a 5 - 10 minute walk into town or down onto the beach.

The only negative was the extra firm mattresses and beds .

This place was very clean and in a great location near to the front. It had every facility you would need for a stay in Nerja. It even had a 2 ring hob which hadn't been listed in the facilities.

Single beds appeared narrow and the mattress was a wee bit firm (everyone has different tastes). The rooms windows looked out onto the corridor so if you wanted any privacy the curtains needed drawn.
