this is a very well located property but beware of going by car with loads of luggage, there is no parking nearby and you can't even stop in front to offload the car. Also, there is not lift so you'll need to carry luggage upstairs yourself (no porter available). The property is cute and very authentic but a bit outdated in places i.e. bathroom. other than that all was good, it's spacious and has all the amenities in the kitchen. Another point to note, nowhere to hang wet towels or clothes, there is a tiny balcony but you can barely get out.

the fact that there was no one to help with luggage...and at times nobody in reception. We understand Nerja is small and not overly touristic but we found this place was expensive compared to other more touristic destinations in the area.

- Perfect location for walking around the town, to restaurants, to the beaches and bus stop. - Although the twin room was a studio, it was plenty big enough for two of us. - Lovely addition having a pool on the room. More like a hot tub as small but great to cool off in the evenings - Very friendly and helpful staff - Very quiet, considering that there is a bar downstairs. Never heard anything!

A bit dated, but had the basics and it was sufficient for the week. It would have been nice to have essential cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, olive oil) so you didn't have to buy whole bottles but considering the price in July, not an issue.

The location was great, the apartments are in an amazing building. Tardis like, huge inside. Staff were great, rooms cleaned and fresh towels every 2 days. Small tv but with a selection of English channels. Nice small pool on the roof. Great roof terrace but could be better used with a little effort.

The crockery and cutlery could do with updating mismatched. There are no decent knives for preparing food. No toilet roll holder, previous one broken off. The sofa and chair were very tired, instead of a throw, a folded sheet placed over the chair. The rooftop terrace would be great, but not cleaning the sunbeds and no sunshades mean you can't spend too long there. I don't want to knock this place too much as the staff are great, and the issues I mentioned could be sorted quite easily.

Well located, close to the beaches, in a relatively quiet area (at least in Feb it was quiet). Nice roof terrace, swimming pool tiny though. A car park for 1 euro per night is at the back of Mercadona - it's just over 5 min walk. In the end it's a way better option than an expensive car park pretty close to the property.

Quite a few rooms have 'internal' window/windows only - facing internal glass-covered stair case/patio (no actual fresh air). If you are looking just for a place to sleep (as opposed to a room where you want to spend some time in), it is absolutely ok though.

Definitely I will come back!!! Regarding my feeling about this place maybe would be enough if I would say, I had a plan for my 9 nights round trip in Andalusia and I booked only 1 night here, but when I got the keys and walked around the hotel ecspecially the rooftop... I cancelled the next day accomodation (which was paid already) and booked one more night here, because I did not want to leave after one night. If I could give 10 stars instead of the max 5, I would!!! 10/10 I already miss this Hotel... I will come back! I highly recommend it!

We arrived after reception close. The self check in instructions were clear and accurate. This accommodation gave us the feeling of this is Spain! The location was excellent - I cannot recommend it enough. The reception staff were so lovely when I asked to stay for an extra night.

There is nothing I didn’t like about this property. Some may say the accommodation is not modern - but I say it’s authentic, clean, excellent facilities e.g microwave, refridgerator, equipped kitchenette.it had an amazing ‘vibe’ which aligned with Nerja!

Well located and well stocked apartment with everything you need kitchen wise and the room is large with an inner courtyard giving good light into the room. Pool and terrace located on roof one floor above and there is good open air parking 5 mins walk across the road (20 euros/day). Very professional though friendly Receptionist speaks excellent English and was keen to assist with everything and made us feel very welcome to Pepe Mesa Apartments.There is also a Bar/Restaurant downstairs which looked good and not noisy inside or interfered with room amenity on floors above.

There were rooms under renovation on our floor (early April 2024 after Easter)the first floor, as well as other areas which meant it was hard to rest in the afternoon, but workers didn't start until 10am and finished by 5pm...it has to happen sometime and I guess the off-peak times are best before the summer. Not too much inconvenience.

Really friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant below the apartments. The restaurant food and ambience was amazing. Tapas were freshly made and tasted delicious. Could not fault anything about the apartments or location at all. Only a 5 min walk to the Balcon and shops and walks along the beach. Would highly recommend these apartments.

We liked the room location number 19. You could sit outside on the terrace next to the pool. Very enjoyable stay.

Not a complaint ! Just a suggestion. There could have been some shade on the roof terrace. Like a parasol or similar
