The building is typically Spanish. The location could not be more perfect in the heart if the old city. Cafe is attached to the hotel with a direct entrance to it from the hotel. Staff very informative, professional but friendly. The shower is one of the best I’ve used in a hotel. We would most certainly return. There is no valet parking as mentioned on booking.com but you can take the car to the entrance of the hotel, unload and park it afterwards. Walk from the public car park is around 5 minutes.

I personally did not find the pillows to my liking but the rest of our party were fine.

Location was amazing, staff were amazing and helpful on more than one occasion. The charm of the hotel itself was great. Size of the room was adequate for what we paid and the bathrooms were also a good size, clean and had great water pressure. We enjoyed our stay.

We were in a room next to the service room, the noise from staff gathering supplies started a bit early for us and it was not subtle. Our room was an exterior room to the street directly over the entrance to the hotel and so it was a bit noisy from people going in or out. The street itself was a lot busier than I expected with lots of motorcycle/scooter traffic, taxis and service vehicles, it started early, ran all day and also ran pretty late at night. Next time we might ask for an interior room overlooking the patio area.

Everything it was very central and hotel had a quaint style. Room was fabulous exactly like the pictures.

No parking. So had to park in the local carpark which was only 5 minutes away but it does cost €18 for a night

The building was stunning, like staying in a castle. The location perfect, opened my balcony to a view of the great mosque of Cordoba, what better than that can you ask for. Enjoyed safely exploring the beauty of the city by day and by evening too. The staff without exception, every single one of them made my stay, I felt relaxed and at ease. They were friendly and attentive to your needs. I must also add a big thank you to the excellent cleaning staff, with their attention to detail which made returning to my room after their visit a real joy. Will for certain return to stay here again.

The fact I had to leave🙄

This hotel breathes history — its brick walls and intimate corridors create the sense of sleeping in a castle, yet the interiors are modern and well-equipped. The location could not be more central: just steps away from the iconic Mezquita and within easy walking distance of Córdoba’s treasures. Our room was comfortable, the WiFi reliable, and the windows well-insulated, ensuring a restful night in the heart of the old town. The foyer, adorned with antique furniture and paintings, opens into a charming patio where one can sip wine or morning coffee, savoring the atmosphere of Andalusia. Though we stayed only one night, we wished to remain longer, so enchanting was both the city and the hotel.

Parking is limited and can be very expensive nearby; clearer advice on parking options would be welcome. Staff professionalism varied — one receptionist was overly curt, which contrasted with the warmth of another. Consistency in hospitality would enhance the experience.

Our stay at Hotel Hacienda Posada de Vallina was a memorable one, especially for its unbeatable location and historic ambiance. Tucked right next to the Mezquita-Catedral and within walking distance of all the major sites — the Roman Bridge, the Alcázar, and the charming Jewish Quarter — this hotel places you right in the center of Córdoba's old-world beauty. The hotel is built within a historic house, and you feel that as soon as you step inside. Exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and a beautiful glass-covered courtyard add a unique sense of character that you simply don’t get at chain hotels. It feels like staying in a small museum, but with all the comforts of a boutique property. The front desk staff were genuinely welcoming and happy to help with everything from recommendations to storing luggage. You can tell they care about guest experience.

The fridge wasn’t cold, however, we only stayed one night and didn’t raise any concerns

The interior of the hotel is like something out of an artists impression of exceptional beauty. What an entrance! WOW! A very special place to stay. Full of history and right in the historical centre. Loved the indoor/outdoor Cafe downstairs - we sat in the sun when we had our morning breakfast. What a treat! Very knowledgeable check-in desk staff, who volunteered all local info needed, & more. A definite place to stay in Cordoba. Couldn't fault it - simply loved it. I felt like a princess staying there. Something very special about it!

The location is second to none! Exactly the location you want to be to enjoy the sights by walking from the hotel. We are both over 65 and managed to walk to all the major attractions without difficulty. Staff ever so helpful and informative. Rooms are attractive and exceptionally clean but preference has to be on upper floor as these rooms are more spacious and some have the opportunity of an outside window.

We were only able to have one breakfast in the hotel's restaurant - on our first morning -which was exceptional value at 10 Euros. However due to the fact that the hotel occupancy was low on subsequent days the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was not available and we were directed to the hotel cafe/deli. Although the food here was of high quality it was limited in a breakfast selection and relatively expensive.

The best location you can get in Cordoba. The hotel allows your car to enter this narrow area, literally at the side of Mezquita. You leave your luggage there and have a valet to park at the€25/day or you can park by yourself at Arenal (Public area at a park where there is a real plane for kids to play). From there you walk for about 15 minutes and your good. Just leave your car there, you won’t need it. About the breakfast: it was about €10 per person. We didn’t get it BUT WE REGRETTED. At the little bar, attached to the hotel, just a cup of coffee was about €4,50. I reccomend to get the buffet at the hotel and have a proper meal. The hotel itself is very nice, magically smells like cinnamon! Love it!

No free parking.

The location is excellent! You are literally across from the Mosque-Cathedral and around the corner from the Bridge. The Royal Stables are close by to take in an Equestrian-Flamenco show. The coffee shop downstairs has excellent coffee and a huge assortment of pastries and breakfast items. Tables inside and outside on the terrace to enjoy your treats while planning your day. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and extremely helpful. A+

Even though our visit was in February, the weather was warm and so our room was very warm. There was no AC this time of year, so we had to open the window which made sleeping difficult from the street noise and lights shining in the room. Since it’s a lovely historic building, the rooms are quite small even by European standards.
