The hotel is in the center of Cordoba, in front of the Mezquita - Cathedral of Cordoba! The room is big and clean with nice views! The breakfast is delicious! The rooftop of the hotel have views in all the town of Cordoba! The staff is so helpful and kind! The best hotel to stay in Cordoba!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, near the walls of the Cathedral-Mosque of Córdoba. The whole area, even very busy, is spectacular. The front desk and breakfast personnel were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean, with all needed basic facilities included (even a bidet, which is not very common for a 2-star hotel).

Breakfast is something you could easily skip there. It's not a Swedish buffet-type one, but a order-from-a-predetermined-list type, which leaves very little room for variations. We stayed for 4 days in that hotel, therefore we got bored of those things already from the second day. It's true that you can't eat and drink the same with 10 Euros if you order à-la-carte elsewhere, so it's a question of booking-versus-budget compromise, after all.

The rooftop terrace was excellent and an unexpected bonus.

If you're looking for no frills this hotel is perfect for a visit to Córdoba. The staff couldn't be any better- all of them bent over backwards to help and were super friendly. Location is perfect, right next to the Mosque you have tons of restaurants and bars around and the atmosphere is lovely.

The single rooms are quite small but I guess big enough. It is quite noisy in the evening because you're in the heart of town and I would change the locks in the rooms. There is no way to lock the door from the inside or the outside. I would have liked a latch on the inside, for example, and be able to turn the key twice when I left, at least. For this reason I wouldn't mind a safe in the room, having said that, they let us put some things in the reception safe.

The hotel is in the center of the old town, so everything is right in front of you or just a few steps away from your room. Very friendly staff, who also helped with parking the car (narrow streets, a rental car that you are just getting to know, lots of people, it is quite a challenge). Be sure to reserve a parking space in advance, as there are not many available. There is also a small bar on the top of the hotel for enjoying a drink. It is important to note that in case of early arrival, they allow you to leave your luggage in a room near the reception and you can go explore the city!

Maybe they could have informed us at check-in that we did not get the reserved room with a double bed, but 2 separate beds and that the room would be adapted for the disabled (challenge with built-in accessories next to the toilet, where you hit your elbows on it due to lack of Use).

The location was incredible, was literally in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the most of the places. The room was clean, was more than enough to spend the night. Ventilation was alright and we didn't feel the extreme hot weather of Córdoba. The terrace was so lovely, the view at night was amazing, the prices were reasonable. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so we do not want to comment about it. I have read other evaluations and I think it is really unfair to demand many things from a two-star hotel. There should be another paragraph for the staff, especially for Núria! She was one of the best receptionist we have ever met! She is talkative, funny and helpful all the time. She is giving her best to make you feel comfortable and always finds solutions, gives great recommendations. We believe she deserves a raise for her dedication to the job =) We would definetely recommend it and we would stay once again at Hotel Marisa. (For the ones who are planning to come by car: Parking is a big trouble in Córdoba, the hotel didn't have enough space for parking and we preferred to park our car at "Parking la Ribera" which is 550 m away and we paid 18 Euros for 24 hours.)

Not a big deal, but if I need to criticize one thing: We did not need to use it but the guests should know that Wi-Fi was not working efficiently.

The staff were so friendly and spoke both English and Spanish, whichever I used. This hotel has a great location, it meant I could always find my way back because it’s right next to the biggest building on the map! The courtyard is beautiful, breakfast served there was tasty and staff were very kind. It was very handy having the bar/restaurant on-site for a quick dinner, and being a terrace with amazing views made it even better! My room was a single, it had a beautiful sloping ceiling, wooden furniture and everything I needed. I would recommend!

The hotel is located next to the Cathedral. Its central location makes it easy to access most of the tourist attractions in Cordoba. One can also hear the Cathedral bells ringing well into the night, but that comes with the location. The hotel has a rooftop terrace/restaurant that offers nice views of the city. The room was spacious and clean. We opted for breakfast, and it was of decent quality (limited choices, but enough to start the day). The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful (especially on our last day when we needed transportation to the train station).

The hotel location and the terrace views overlooking the Mezquita were perfect. Staff were very responsive and helpful via the booking.com chat service before we arrived. There is a mini fridge in the room but no kettle. I was worried it'd be cold as it was end of Jan, but the heating was very good. You can also park there (with an additional fee) which was really useful.

My only 2 issues were 1) the sinks are a strange shallow shape, I hope they consider changing them in future 😅 2) one towel had a hair in it and the bed runner was stained, but other than that it was clean and comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, especially considering it’s only rated 2 stars. The staff were incredibly friendly, understanding, and always ready to help with any questions we had about the city. They gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which made our visit to Córdoba even more enjoyable. While the room was a bit on the smaller side, the hotel staff were very accommodating. When we mentioned it, they quickly offered us a larger room at no extra charge, which was much appreciated. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Córdoba and within walking distance of all the major tourist sites. We were able to explore the city’s stunning landmarks, like the Mezquita and bridge, with ease. For the price and the service, this hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s a great budget option, especially for anyone who wants to be in the center of everything!

At the end of the day, though, it is still a 2-star hotel, so there were some areas that were lacking. For example, the amenities were basic, and the room decor was quite simple. The bathroom, while clean, was functional but not luxurious. You can’t expect high-end features at this price point, so some things like soundproofing and storage space were a bit limited. That said, considering the location, service, and value for money, it’s a great option if you don’t mind the simplicity.
