Very peaceful place to stay. Easy to walk into Ostuni, took 20 minutes approx. Louigi was very helpful and Gabriela looked after us too. Nice room facing the pool which was kept very clean. Would stay there again.

It would be nice to be able to have tea facilities in the room or where the breakfast area is, when you come back to the room after a day out ....But you can take your own travel kettle and tea bags on holiday. We would have liked a cooked breakfast, even scrambled egg, but it is Italy so cheese, ham, boiled eggs and then plenty of selection of cakes and cereal. Maybe some fruit would be good too.

What a beautiful place this was. It is of high standard and is exceptional. It was peaceful and quiet. Communication with staff was smooth and organised. We were greeted by the hosts in warm friendly welcoming manner. Luigi the owner was always willing to help nothing was to much trouble he even gave us a lift to the station when we couldn’t get a taxi. What a lovely guy he is. Gabriella was wonderful she was always happy to help. Her breakfast was varied and enjoyable which we ate on our terrace. Our room was beautiful and clean with a private terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place

There is nothing we didn’t like

Very nice bnb, nice swimming pool, vyiniayrds all round, lots of green space and easy to access car park. Nice spacious shower and also very nice breakfast.

The aircon just isn’t powerful enough – it takes ages to cool down the room. When we flagged it to the host, their reaction wasn’t great. They seemed pretty disinterested, which didn’t feel nice. Probably because there wasn’t much they could do, but honestly, they just need a better aircon system. We also had two overnight power cuts in a row, which meant the aircon switched off both nights. Super frustrating – we woke up sweating and, as mentioned, it takes forever to cool the room down again. After the first power cut, it didn’t feel like there was any real effort to understand what happened or make sure it wouldn’t happen again.

- The rooms were very clean and spacious - Easy access to the pool which was clean and big enough, we were provided 2 sunbeds for each room - The breakfast was good and varied - Coffee, tea were available for free throughout the day - Parking available for free - 15 minutes walking from the city centre which for us was very convenient because it is very hard to find a parking spot in the city centre Luigi, our host, was kind enough and provided info about places to eat, beaches and sightseeings. The lady who was in charge of cleaning the rooms was very careful and responsible. I would book this accomodation again, Ostuni is a great city that is worth visiting more than on time together with the other small cities around. 😊

An attractive well run small hotel in a garden setting about 25 minutes walk from the Old town of Ostuni. Spacious rooms with a nice patio area overlooking the pool. What undoubtably elevates the Casale Ramunno experience is Gabriella who provided an excellent breakfast each morning and was happy to make tea or coffee of your choice and generally help start your day perfectly! Whilst there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms access to the small kitchen meant drinks were available whenever needed.

Hot water for the shower was a little erratic.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ask for some suggestions to have dinner and he sent as message with a few options, were to park, even a few masserias if we wanted to try. The breakfast is amazing and you can have it outside, in front of your own bedroom, if you decide to. They’ll set up everything. The atmosphere of this place is incredible and so relaxing. The bedrooms, the pool, the garden. In terms of locations for us it was perfect because we didn’t want to be in Ostuni city center and we had rented a car. It’s maybe a 4 minute drive away. If you want to walk, however, it is possible but it takes you 25min. And the walk is mainly by the road not through the city.

Hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from Ostuni town centre. We chose it because it felt like it would be quiet, has a pool, has parking and has easy access out of Ostuni if you want to explore nearby areas. There is also a big supermarket nearby you can walk and drive too if you need. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, cheese, meats and you get to sit on your little terrace and enjoy each morning.

The hosts Luigi and his Mom were very helpful. Luigi gave us recommendations to restaurants. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Puglia and Basilicata. The hostess put together an amazing spread including home made cake and jams. She gave us recommendations of other towns and places to visit. The walk to the center of Ostuni took us approximately 20-30 minutes. It was still a little chilly in the evening this time of year, but I can imagine relaxing around the pool and enjoying the peace and quiet on the property when the temperature has gone up. We loved that we could park our car on this gated compound. We highly recommend this property.

No negatives.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful and always reachable via WhatsApp. The room was clean and quiet at any time. Never heard other people from other rooms. The breakfast was very good, with selfmade cakes and marmelade. We loved having breakfast in front of our room by the pool. The pool area is also clean and relaxing. Parking was also no problem. It was possible to walk to the city center. It was not too far in our opinion and after having pizza its not too bad to walk a bit :-) We would definately visit again!

The mattress was not the best, if my partner moved, I woke up. It was too soft. Also there was a lot of mold in the shower, which is not very nice. To walk in town you have to walk the first 100-200m on the street. We found it quite dangerous to walk on the street as the Italians drive like crazy. But this has nothing to do with the accomodation.

A charming building set in pretty gardens. Very quiet despite being on a relatively busy road. Excellent breakfast from home grown produce. Obliging and approachable host, although he resides off site. Convenient for visiting Ostuni, Caravigno, Martina Franca and surrounding cities.

The wardrobe space is sufficient for a weekend break. Rather tight for 2 people on a one week stay. There could be more accessible power sockets, e.g by the beds for charging devices. The shower sorround needs some attention. There is nowhere to hang wet bathing suits or towels
