The hotel is secluded, which can be a pro and a con . Thankfully we travelled by car so it was pretty easy. We found the concierge to be lovely, and we were given the room in no time at all. The room for a family of five was adequately spacious; bathroom was nice. Breakfast is continental, and although there were scrambled and hard boiled eggs, and a few sausages. The Italian sweets were delicious. We had dinner at Il Gattopardo, and the food and service were impeccable. Parking was very easy, right outside the hotel; the view from the hotel grounds is breathtaking.

As I said before, the hotel is pretty secluded, but a short drive leads you to the seaside. It is very easy to find, but the roads are winding and pretty scary and dark at night. Also , we had breakfast in an underground area, not in the Roof Garden. Our room was ground floor so we had no view of the sea - just the pool. Our experience was a little marred when a team of young teen boys came to the hotel - the noise at night with banging of doors and shouting next door meant we could not really sleep - we had to get up at 3:30am due to an early journey back home; but eventually someone came to stop them and we managed a couple of hours. All in all, we would stay there again as we loved the hotel and staff.

The reception staff were exceptional. We made an error getting into cab and not the shuttle bus...but, they did not treat us like idiots and were very understanding. Great sense of humour. They did absolutely everything they could for us to make us comfortable. The rooms were great. Really clean. The room servicing fitted in with our plans and was just what we needed.

Sadly the breakfast options were the least interesting and tempting of the 5 hotels we had stayed in during our week stay. Very limited hot options. No potatoes, tomatoes, sausages, fish. Such a shame. We were disappointed the cocktail bar and roof terrace was not open. The temp was 30o...our holiday was continued but the hotel was clearly shutting down. Finally. We had to leave at 7am but could not get an expresso coffee before we left the reception was dark and there was certainly no coffee to be had. We were disappointed.

This is an excellent hotel, very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very good, spacious with a comfortable bed, good toiletries and shower. Breakfast was excellent; good, varied food and helpful staff. Overall we loved our stay. Fantastic view from the third floor room.

Not being able to bring drinks into our room is odd; we thought a little dictatorial in the paperwork about what we could and couldn’t do. No coffee in the bedroom was as little strange. The restaurant was a little bit of a letdown.

Property inside was lovely, of good quality, clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful, room was always cleaned and tidied daily. There was loads of free parking (which is important in Sicily). Breakfast staff were very helpful and polite.

Facade of property needs some maintenance. We had a room with a town view and no balcony so it was difficult to dry our towels and swim suits without any drying provision. Strangely no shelves in the wardrobe to keep our clothes. Also breakfast could do with more variety - possibly suited to Italians but not for international visitors.

Lovely bar, cocktails and toasties! Awesome views Reception staff lovely and helpful. Nice pool, large rooms and balcony's.

The hotel is more out of the way than you realise. Hotel does provide complementary shuttle , we needed to get to train station. We decided on eating at hotel as opposed to venturing out as we only stayed one night. The restaurant was a little too quiet and bright and the menu wasn't great. No atmosphere, felt a bit impersonal. Breakfast quite good tho.

Operated like a luxury hotelbesutigul structure. Looked like a ball park . Staff was very friendly & helpful with directions.

The location was a bit out of the way. It said it only , .4 miles away from the old Catania historic center. Took us half hour by car to get there. Must have been a different district center. Sm Too many kids in the pool.

We like its location, also the friendly staff. we had an awesome bartender

The fact that the breakfast was not limited in options

Clean and neat. Nice fragrance in the corridors. Large free parking. Comfortable beds. Nice view from the room.

Not much choice for breakfast, available the minimum for continental breakfast. Only tea in the room, no coffee. Swimming pool opens in June.

Excellent room and bathroom, nicely presented, very clean. Hotel is modern, well decorated and excellent value.

Location at the top of a hill with very poor access roads from all sides. Not suitable if you don’t have a car. Breakfast choice quite mediocre.

Room given to us was very spacious and in good working order. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent with great panoramic views from the roof top. Beautiful, well maintained swimming pool. The restaurant manager was excellent and catered for dietary requirements even if the items were not on the menu.

Breakfast could have been better with more hot breakfast options. Gym was poorly equipped. Toilets in the gym could not be locked from the inside so anyone could walk in while one was using them. Our room was on the top floor where access to the balcony was locked and had to constantly ask staff to open it and were refused use of it once.
