It wasn’t overcrowded , so there was enough space for everybody and no queues for food, drinks , etc . There is a kids pool with perfect depth for 9-10 year olds. I got an unexpected and unfamiliar allergic reaction during our stay and the reception desk lady called a doctor from Nikiti immediately who checked me and prescribed medication. The hotel staff went and bought them for me as I wasn’t able to drive and my companions were all under the influence. I thank them for that! They also let us do a late check out despite I asked at the last moment.

There is some problem with the kids’ pool floor , as our children had all some minor cuts on their toes. It was explained that there is sand in the pool but that wasn’t the case. The lifeguard constantly gave us bandaids for the kids toes. The coffee in the all inclusive is some kind of ness coffee and it is not good. For espresso , you should pay

Food was good,all inclusive drinks are very bad,music not very nice. Staff was very nice and when I asked for help they helped me. Miss Magda was so lovely 😍

I really think it would be a way better hotel if they improved the beach, it was a mixture of sand and rocks but in the water it was mostly large rocks which I did not like so I had to go to a different beach

We had a fantastic stay at Village Mare and can’t recommend it highly enough – especially for families with children! The resort has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The swimming pools were an absolute hit – clean, well-maintained, and never too crowded. The food was another highlight. The menu was varied and delicious every day, offering something for every taste – from local Greek specialties to international dishes. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the ladies organizing the children’s activities. They were simply amazing – warm, energetic, and so caring with the kids. Every day brought something new: drawing sessions, games, crafts, and playful time with toys, all in a safe and cheerful environment. In the evening, the mini disco became a beloved tradition for our kids. These ladies clearly love what they do, and it shows. They gave us parents a chance to relax knowing the kids were in the best hands. If you’re looking for a resort that offers comfort, great food, and unforgettable family fun, Village Mare is the place to go. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The beach directly next to the resort is a bit rocky, so we chose to visit Nikiti Beach, just a 15-minute drive away. It was absolutely worth it – soft sand, crystal-clear water, and very easy parking.

Good location, very nice and helpful stuff, apartment big enough, nice seaview from apartment, the resort tidy and with many trees. Beach was near, umbrella and sunbeds for 3 euro per day. Wide choice of meals every day, every day greek specialities, a lot of vegetable and fruit. Drinks and icecream on pool bar also possible to také away. Large beach with quite a few people. Overall good value for money.

Entry to sea on the beach, there very Stones on the water Entry. But there are many nice beaches in the neighborhood.

Well, expected that hotel is on the beach ,but short distance away , few minutes walking , umbrellas and sunbeds to close each other. Think that it could be better , a lot free ground beside . But another lovely beach in proximity . without crowd.

there were no ashtrays on the beach. please add one on each umbrella. would be nice to add some drinks in the minifridge as well.

I loved everything! Village Mare is a great resort - not too busy and not too quiet (we visited 4-11 August), with excellent pools and a very good beach nearby. I recommend taking snorkels, the underwater life was beautiful. The food selection was excellent (even for little fussy eaters) and staff amazing - hard-working and very polite. Good selection of rooms for smaller/bigger families, with air-con working perfectly and being quiet enough. I also recommend a trip to Nearby Nikiti, the old town has an excellent bar!

The only thing I didn't like was that Margarita wasn't on the all inclusive menu :D (my favourite drink, obviously)

The hotel provided all we needed. It was a 4* hotel for families with small kinds.

No beach towels. It was too hot in the room despite the fact that we had 2 aircos. No way to make a draft in the loft.

Food, staff and locations are perfect!

My recommendation for the owners: Wi-fi in the rooms have to be better then now, bottle of 0,5l water must be free of charge for All Inclusive! For the future, keep in might to invest and build some kind of beach bar with sneaks and drinks on the beach.
