The hotel is comfortable, easy to get to from the highway, easy to find, and there is a grocery store at the same parking lot. Plenty of free parking both at the parking lot, on the street, extra lot next door and elsewhere around. Breakfast is typical cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt and buns but also freshly made eggs and bacon ad libitum. Restaurant is great, very good and fresh tasting simple and straightforward German food (be advised, it is heavy food with lots of meat).

Guests and customers of nearby stores smoke a lot at the restaurant patio, on the parking lot, and in front of the entrance, so you will smell smoke going into the hotel (the hotel itself is smoke-free though, and the insides do not stink; most of the room windows face an empty lawn behind the building so smoke doesn't get near). The location is in the middle of a residential quarter, a bit of a walk from everything (city center, canal, ferries) - walkable and definitely bikeable/driveable but not next door. The surroundings look a bit rundown, though I did not feel unsafe around the hotel or at the hotel. And remember that Sunday is German closed day for most stores and restaurants, including the hotel restaurant (which is only open for breakfast) and the nearby grocery store.

Breakfast was excellent, with good choice and good quality food. We stayed in the annex, and the rooms there were clean and spacious. Being on the ground floor is an additional plus in German budget hotels, as lifts are not to be expected in them. Supermarket across the car park. The area in the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant offers good German fare at reasonable prices.

The windows on our room overlooked the car park and the logistics area of a supermarket, and people were stopping for a smoke just outside our window. If it's hot outside, and you open the window, light sleepers will probably hear the trains operating at night, but it must be said, they are not noisy trains, so this only applies for light sleepers when the window is left open.

The hotel is located in a precinct of shops, opposite a block of flats, so first impression wasn't that great. However, the rooms have clearly been refurbished and were modern and spacious. The addition of a fridge was nice. The man that checked us in was friendly and helpful and also served us in the hotel restaurant which was very good. The covered seating area outside the restaurant was particularly welcome on a warm evening. The breakfast was very nice with a good range of hot and cold options to help set us up for the day.

The hotel isn't very close to the centre of Rendsburg if you're on foot.

We checked in really late (around 22:30) and the door was closed. One quick call and someone was on the way to open the door. Check-in was super easy and my room was very clean. Wifi worked great in my room. We stayed for 1 night, just to have a place to sleep during our roadtrip.

My friends didn't have any available wifi in their rooms and also their 4G/5G network barely had any reach. Contacting them was very difficult since some of the rooms are in a different building with a different enterance.

We were in the new annex and everything was new and clean. The breakfast buffet was good and the evening meals we had there were good. The food was mainly traditional German food.

hi Wasn’t the best location if you wanted to see more of the centre of Rendsburg . Though I guess this is reflected in the price.

Th staff is really nice! Always smiling! Booking made a mistake in our reservation and the staff decided to offer us our breakfast which I thought was really nice.
