Probably the first time a hotel looked better than in pictures. The exterior is a bright and freshly painted white and red. Interior has a rustic, cottage decor, with traditional wall hangings and rugs. My upgraded room had an accent wall draped entirely with cow (yak?) hide fur. There is a terrace to enjoy the view of the mountains, and I was lucky to enjoy this place in the off season of February, while weather was not bad at all. The ride and walk up to the 7th century Buddha carving in Kargah was very pleasant, and the driver told me lots of things about the area. Overall, very homey and friendly, family-run guesthouse.

Well situated, this pretty small hotel is highly recommended. The owner is a very warm and helpful person who does everything to make you feel comfortable. He goes out of his way to help you out with whatever you need (SD card, adapter...) A special attention is put to the decoration of the hotel. The garden is big and very nice - an umbrella would be very useful when the temperature rises up to 36 degrees!

Better english speaking staff would be welcomed. Bathroom and beds were very clean - just the floor hadn't seen some cleaning since the last guests...

Duroyou is my special 'home' in Pakistan, to stay in, a wonderful, relaxing place with a lovely mountain view location and a large green lawn, very good service and comfortable rooms. But the best thing by far is the loving and caring welcome and reception I received from everybody (say hello to Snoopy and Victor from me!). And in particular, brothers Badar and Fakhar - all the good and funny times I've spent with them can never be repaid - they turned this 'guest' into a friend for life. Please stay here if you've got any sense... but save a room for me, haha.

What's not to like? Biggest regret? I forgot to take my shalwar kameez home with me when I left, which was yet another gift I received.- one of the few items of clothing I've ever worn that made me feel handsome (or at least distinguished) again, haha.

The location was great, close to the highway and next to many restaurants and ATM. The little garden had a great view on the surrounding mountains. The shower was good. Definitely great value for money!

While the bathroom and room were clean (compared to the typical standard around here) it could still be improved. Also the room was quite hot but I think that was because of the unusual heatwave and the power outages that turned off the AC.

Duroyou Inn was one of our best stay in Pakistan so far! - The whole place including the room were well decorated. - The bed was especially comfortable and we had a great night sleep - The owner and other staff were all very friendly and helpful. It really did feel like you were staying at a good friend's house rather than a hotel. - Great location, it's close to shops and restaurants on the main street but you don't get any of the noise.

If you look for a nice place, including a good view from the garden to the montain range to Rakaposhi, you have the right place. Quiet and nearly downtown. Soon from the 1th floor the best view. For any tour trips around, like Hunza and on your wish, they will do it or give a help. For quickly shopping ask Wasim from the kitchen and jump on his motobike.

I stayed at the Duroyou Inn twice and my experience there was amazing, especially the exceptional service! I came to Gilgit Baltistan without much of a plan and the owner Badar helped me to plan my trip and we even went on a roadtrip together where I got to experience the true pakistani culture! It was amazing and I am so thankful for the entire experience! The rooms were nice and big, beautifully decorated, and you had an AC which was very necessary at times. All in all, you have everything you need in the room with an exceptional service and good food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They had troubles with electricity and since my stay was in winters, they provided us with extra blankets and heaters.

I was travelling for work and had to reach office early in the morning. Breakfast got late twice. Otherwise it was fine. They had 2 guard dogs, and quite nosy & noisy ones. Whenever I came back from office, dogs would welcome me and it was a bit bothersome. But otherwise it was quite fine.

We had a great stay at Duroyou Inn that we will not forget. The owners and staff are all young, open and super friendly. The atmosphere is totally hospitable and we felt like home. Syed and his brothers do a great job and we had very interesting conversations. They are all very helpful and answered all our questions. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, everything is very clean. They even installed new air conditioners. The accommodation has a quiet garden as well as a roof terrace from which you have a super view. There is also a lounge where you can get in touch with other guests and the staff. Drinking water can be filled from a container at any time. We had breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, everything was always delicious and the price was very good. We were also especially pleased with the great dog Snoopy. She is insanely sweet and is very happy about petting. Thank you very much for the great time with you, we will be very happy to come back!

Very nice and friendly staff. Specially the owner who was extraordinarily helpfull, patient and provided all needed informations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very coze lobby.
