Incredible view of the mighty Indus river from the window of the room with a view. It's probably better than those Niagara Falls hotels with a view because of the sheer closeness to the river and the sound of the water constantly flowing with such force. I also took the steps from the family hall kitchen and climbed down to the road-under-construction, which is a nice little walk along the river. Sometimes there are young people hanging out on the rocks beside the river, and it would be cool to check that out, but have to be careful!

Right by the airport. It's about 15 minutes walk. Nice rooms. Great restaurant.

The bed had like no rack left under so if you sat on the edge the mattress collapsed. There was a tube from shaving gel just sitting on the counter and when I opened the fridge there was a leftover piece of rotten meat...

Good location next to the river, lovely view from room. Restaurant served good lunch and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel seemed to struggle to find our booking when we arrived, even though we’d booked through booking.com and confirmed with them via messages.

electricity and hot water was on and off For winter visitors when gas fire needed upgraded heaters plus a carbon monoxide alarm. ( I came in late November) The ad says free shuttle and I did message property with details of my arrival as I flew but no one was there. There was a taxi at Gilgit airport I paid 500.

Great outdoor deck overlooking the river. Very popular restaurant serving excellent food. Comfortable bed. Good, clean bathroom

Had to wait around for room to be available and then put into one that wasn't entirely clean, only to be asked to move again later. No big deal, but could have been managed better.

The restaurant at the hotel serves excellent food and it was delicious. The room was comfortable and we had a nice balcony giving fabulous views.

My bathroom had a leaking pipe which made the floor constantly wet. The reception staff could have been a little more welcoming.

The staff at Indus Lodges are attentive and skilled. The hotel also provided courtesy tea when we arrived, and not to mention restaurant offers a great quality of Food. The location is convenient, 5 mins distance from the airport. The river side terrace is absolutely gorgeous lightening and decore add more charm to the property. The mountains are in the background. I can safely say this is the best place in Gilgit for all tourists. I felt like being at home. Staff is so friendly and caring. They upgraded my room for free as I wasn’t feeling comfortable in the room I booked. Tried their BBQ and it’s the best I had in recent times. One can have a very nice view of Gilgit river from the window. I will definitely come again and recommend this. One last thing, Their Ice cream is LOVE

Perfect location with a really nice terrace on the river side where you can relax and drink a chai. The Management and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great choice when you visit Gilgit. Hot water and wifi was available all the time.
