The location was excellent, staff very helpful, parking was great and wonderful breakfast. Offered us two umbrellas as it began to pour when we arrived. But we went exploring anyway. Thank you for your kindness! We found shops and shops which I loved and hubby couldn’t do anything else because of the rain. The square added history to the visit. Will tell our friends what a great place to stay visiting the capitol of the Peloponnesus.

. air conditioner didn’t work well first night but problem was us not pressing proper buttons I think . Cud use more shelves for make up and toiletries in washroom. Coffee maker and sugar dispenser could be moved to get better access. But loved being there.

Perfect location, the atmosphere in and around the hotel is great. Bonus: a lively and professional hotel bar with big terraces and fine food, open all day. You can easily get any coffee/drink to your room and balcony too (the balconies are perfect: quite big, nearly no direct sunshine and sheltered from the wind).

The hotel is old, add to a fine vibe, but even after renovation parts feel old (be sure you like carpet in the rooms :) )

The hotel was clean, comfortable and met my families expectations. We travelled as a family of 4 and we had joining rooms. The location was the best at one of the main platias of Tripoli- Platia Aeros. Superb. Shops, restaurants and walking distance to everything. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking available too.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was accommodating. The air conditioning was excellent.

Our room was on the ground floor. We had a table and chairs in the garden facing the back of the hotel on the ground floor. The view was not very appealing and it was connected with the other rooms but it was okay because it was too hot to sit outside. The curtains were old-fashioned and filthy.

Nice hotel, comfortable, in a good location in the very center of the city. Most rooms have a view of the main city square. The hotel is probably from sixties, but mostly well maintained. Good breakfast.

Parking is problematic, because compared to the size of the hotel, the parking lot is rather small. One day I returned at 3:30 pm and there were the last two parking spots available, the last one filling up just after my return. Area around the hotel is partially pedestrian only and partially resident only parking and unlike in other Greece smaller cities the parking rules are strictly enforced (I actually saw cops writing tickets). So be prepared you might have to leave your car 500 or more meters away from the hotel on the street if you arrive just a little bit later.

The room with a park view and balcony was very good, as was the breakfast. Room size was good. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and rang the national bus company to check timetables for us 👍

The air-conditioning was noisy and struggled to cool the room even on full (hence the noise). The attachment for the shower rose was broken, so you had to hold it with one hand to have a shower, water went onto the floor (we told the reception on checking out so hopefully room 306's shower will be repaired for the next guest!). Room colours were bold and dated with a very special 'traditional' decor, but in okay condition for its age. The whole hotel needs a freshen up (inside and out), but for a night or two NOT at the height of summer, it was fine.

2 room suite was large and very comfortable. Location was close to everything and having a parking spot was an added perk! The on site restaurant was super! Menu was well thought out with lots of options and food was delicious. The fruit and wine on arrival was a very nice surprise. We enjoyed it very much at the end of a hectic day. Thanks Mainalon !

Would have liked a TV in the second ròom

Historical hotel located on the main square is within walking distance to shopping and dining establishments. 6 roomy elevator was a welcome site and demonstrated that the hotel is high ckass.

Some of the furnishings could use refinishing.

Right in the heart of Tripoli next to all the cafes and shops. Perfect location and staff were amazing.

It would be nice if Breakfast was served in the cafe connected to the hotel. Nicer atmosphere and better view outside. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

The hotel was excellent. The staff very kind and helpful. The rooms very clean and very nice decorated. Specious rooms and very nice view . Very good breakfast. Location great !!! this is the only hotel I will stay when I come back again.
