We stayed here just for the night to visit Chapoutier winery and to enjoy dinner at Marius. What a location for a hotel, the view from our room (number 4 book the room with terrace!) was just stunning, across the Rhone to St Joseph and the vines, the bridge and the village on the other side. So beautiful. The room has been newly renovated, as has the hotel, with a super comfy bed and pillow, Nespresso coffee machine and a new bathroom which also has a stunning view! The lady who checked us in the as so friendly despite our language barrier. we chose to just park on the street down by the river with plenty of spaces available. There’s a great wine bar on the same side of the road next door which has great wines by the glass as well as platters of food. Tain is the faded beauty of the region, spend a night and enjoy!

Wonderful location overlooking the Rhone. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and hot dishes on request. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine on the enclosed terrace with some nibbles. We unloaded our luggage at the door, and were then directed to private parking, a few minutes drive away and a short walk back along the river.

Some confusion about the room. I booked with a balcony, but we were given a room without and was told it was bigger and would be more suitable as we had our dog with us. There's no lift, so hauling luggage up two flights of stairs may not be for everyone.

What an excellent view we had from our room, overlooking the river and the pedestrian bridge. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was comfortable, clean, and the reception staff were gracious and gave us chocolates. Breakfast was really good!! All kinds of cakes and pastries, but also coffee, eggs, bacon, great cheeses.

Nothing! Just know that you can’t park there, reception were so helpful and told us where to find free parking.

We loved our stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable without being overdone or fancy. The location, in the middle of Tain L’Hermitage and right on the Rhône river, was great - we had a lovely view of the river and the opposite hills from our room. The breakfast was very nice.

The parking was a bit difficult- in an old garage a short distance away that was a little awkward to maneuver. We didn’t use the car much so it wasn’t a big problem.

This is a lovely hotel overlooking the pedestrian bridge and the Rhone. In the middle of a small town, we used it as a stop over on the way home. Friendly English speaking reception, lovely room and shower with a view ( worth having). Close to bars and a good restaurant.next door. Plenty of street parking off season, hotel car park designed for small French cars!!! Lovely breakfast. Dog friendly.

Very little not to like. Slightly limited lounge space in feb but lovely conservatory in summer I suspect! No lift, so good cardio!

The property was very modern and clean. Our room on the first floor was river facing with great views. The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious. The bathroom was immaculate with a very powerful shower.

The weather was very wet during our stay and there were no coat hooks to hang our wet coats on. The wardrobe hanging space was very limited. There was no lift! Normally this isn’t a problem as I’m happy to climb stairs. However I had a broken leg……fortunately our room was only on the first floor.

Exceptional location overlooking the river. The hotel was renovated in January and it is lovely. The shower is very good, not complicated as in some hotels. Breakfast was also exceptional with a great choice, including the possibility of freshly cooked - unbeatable value. Friendly and helpful staff too. Although the parking (reservation necessary) isn't on site it is only a few minutes walk away - access might be challenging for very large cars! We'll definitely return and stay longer.

Although it didn't bother us, there is no lift; Access to the rooms is by a beautiful staircase.

The hotel was so conveniently located to both shops and restaurants on the Tain l'Hermitage side as well as across the river on the Tournon side. Loved it that the pedestrian bridge was just outside the hotel. The rooms were clean and bright too. Our room had a small balcony with the river view, and it was such a beautiful view - both in the day as well as at night.

Rooms were a bit small. We had booked 3 rooms, for our group of 4, and each room was really quite small - it was ok for 1 person, but bit tight for 2 persons when moving about the room or using the bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent, customer service was excellent, beds were comfortable, and rooms very clean! Location is good to walk to many restaurants, wineries, and shopping.

We should have reserved their parking garage ahead of time as it was full when we were there. We parked on street and had to get passes from city but it worked fine.

Everything was beautiful. The only thing is that people don’t pick up their pet’s poppy from the street

The property is pretty. The only thing that never found the parking of the hotel because the staff doesn’t speak English and I didn’t speak French. Next time I download the translation app.
