The hotel is absolutely stunning. The rooms and lounges have a classic, aesthetic decor. There is also a lovely spot with a fireplace which was a highlight of the evening to spend some time relaxing in front of it with a glass of wine. Our room had a balcony overlooking the forest and a lovely winter ambience. It is a perfect place for someone looking to escape to a peaceful, cozy environment, surrounded by nature. The location is also very convenient, close to the town centre and also a ski resort. The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. They were ready to answer any queries and went above and beyond to provide a pleasant experience. We arrived at the hotel quite late and were hungry. The hotel kitchen was already closed but the owners offered to prepare a meat and cheese board so we could have something to eat. They are very approachable and happy to listen to any feedback the guests have. Antonello, who was at the bar at a time, kept us company in the evening, recommended some great wine, kept the fireplace running and we had a great chat. Overall, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and will definitely be going back. And I loved the pistachio croissants at breakfast!

The location is simply perfect, nestled in nature but just a short walk from the centre. The staff was exceptional, always available. The room was clean and bigger than I expected. Breakfast was also perfect with a stunning view of the trees.

The staff were cheery, the couches in the saloon were comfortable and inviting, as was the log fire. It’s an easy stroll into town which was perfect for the Mushroom festival. The hotel itself has good bones but the bedrooms need updating.

It doesn’t seem as if the ac is working and the tiny bathroom, though painted to cheer it up, is so small, you can barely move. But the worst part for me was the bed. From experience, I know too well that the beds in Italy seem to be very firm but this was not only like lying on a snooker table, the springs in bedstead creaked and crackled so loud, it was ridiculous. The breakfast could be better in particular, the coffee. No cafe available, just awful filtered sludge. Also, what I thought was terrible and very dangerous, is a huge hole in the parking area. As you drive into the gate, it is to your direct left. We managed to park there by clever reversing. The next morning, the car in front of us left so we decided to move our car forward to be able to get out easier. This is when the hike was revealed. We were chilled to think what could have happed the night before. Rosen legs or tires! You could plant a tree in the hole. Extremely dangerous and no warning so beware.

I did not like the treatment of the management due to the fact that we encountered in a problem with the booking, we booked the vacation from 23 to 25 but we arrived on 24 missed One day, the management did not care about It, did not help us to find another solution or propose something different. We paid all in Advance. NOT RECOMMANDED!!!
