I love this hotel. I've stayed at the aja Travemünde on multiple occasions and keep going back. I especially like the large breakfast buffet which in the meantime also offers quite a few vegan options and of course, the indoor and outdoor pools are awesome.

It's been a while since the rooms were updated. I'm not asking for a full overhaul, but the sofa in the room is by now a bit dated. Might be time for an update. Otherwise, everything is fantastic.

AJA is great. Their best place is at Garmish-P. I've been to Gromitz too, it was the worst. Food is good, rooms are good for 2 adults, but a small for 2 adults and 1 kid. Rooms were clean, we had great view to harbour and ships. SPA are is huge, swimming pool is huge. Facilities are great, location is great, city is very beautiful. I regret that we didn't spend 2 more days there.

Stuff, we went for dinner from bar and didn't see the guide "how to get seated for dinner". Anyway it was in German, but we are used to use Google Translate. The guy who was responsible for seating guests was very irritated with our actions since we took wrong table. We pay your salary, why are you so mad with such minor fault? BTW, why not to place same guide next to bar? Yeah, we have google translate and can use it if we see smth written in German. The rest was great. Hope that guy just had a bad day, we got some good German wine and forgot about him.

The swimming pools are very nice. The water was warmer in the outside swimming pool. The breakfast was very good. The robot as bar service. The bed was comfortable. Good internet at our room on the first floor. Quite and in front of the beach. You get a pass to go to the beach. Could book it last minute

No air conditioner on the rooms... If it gets too warm it's difficult to sleep. No fridge or amenities to make coffee or tea at the rooms. Parking place expensive but there is one nearby for 4 eur/day. I have paid more 6 euros then what was showing on Booking. No idea why .. it is quite expensive for one night but well... It is holidays time ..

The location and infrastructure are excellent. Breakfast and dinner buffet was very good and tasty. A nice feature was the minibar robot. The room view on the trave river and the Passat P-Liner sailship was very , verybeautiful

Its a high level critic, the rooms, we had, were very small. comparable to a ships cabin. Very miniimalistic, no bidet, cups,or glasses and no fridge.

The location was top and the coffee & cake event in the afternoon has a nice touch. Service very friendly.

Wifi was terrible and the breakfast buffet wasn’t refilled quick enough. Also I find 1 towel for the Spa isn’t enough. If you go more than once a day you have to re-use a wet towel.

Breakfast could be better, we were expecting more diversity. Besides, dinner/breakfast room is too small for the number of people in the hotel.

Fantastic place with sea view . Right at the bank on the river . Nearby all you expect from seaside resort place . Parking is ok . Welcome set for pet .

One of three elevators was not working fir unknown reasons and this is why it was too to long to wait for go down during breakfast . Brealfast was good but lack of personal to provide all amenities and unitlities

The train travel... from Hamburg to Vienna Meidling. 9,5 hours standing on the floor of the train. But arriving was very acclimatic...

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The view towards Trave is always nice. The personel was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast.

The first room we got, on the fifth floor, was not quiet(despite what was written in the confirmation of the reservation) and we could not sleep because of guests above us. A nice female in the reception helped us change rooms and the second room was quiet.

I liked the indoor and outdoor pool. Close to the beach.

Guests were smoking at the pool and in the sauna facility. Shouldn't be allowed.
