We recently enjoyed a fantastic one-night stay at this charming hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way! We always seek out places with character, pet-friendly, and on-site restaurant, and this place delivered beautifully on all three fronts. Even in winter, the location has an incredible charm that made our visit special. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. The restaurant was a highlight of our stay! I absolutely loved that they prioritize local ingredients in their dishes. The selection of local wines paired perfectly with our meals, and everything we enjoyed for both dinner and breakfast was of outstanding quality. We’ve discovered a new favorite stop that we’ll definitely return to whenever we’re in the area. After trying numerous places over the years, this one stands out as the most enjoyable experience we've had. Highly recommended!.

Nothing :)

Good location in a pretty village not far from Troyes. Loved the old water mill and very friendly welcome . Good secure parking. Excellent meal in the restaurant and lovely breakfast with plenty of choice . Room ok , a bit dated but does have air conditioning.

Very untidy communal area as housekeeping was obviously behind , not nice to have to walk past piles of dirty linen. Bathroom really needs re painting and electric wall socket in bathroom was quite dangerous as it nearly came off the wall. Only one member of staff on duty and though she really tried hard service was chaotic .

An attractive premises in a very pleasant setting. A good atmosphere and pleasing staff. An enjoyable supper. I was also able to park my car with an attached car trailer in a safe and convenient location on site.

I had hoped breakfast would have been available from 7.00, as stated in the hotel information in the room. I needed to be at a garage at 8.00 to retrieve a car so had to leave before breakfast which was only available from 8.00. Disappointing but not a major issue.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great for travelling up through France, in a lovely village and the hotel itself is just lovely. Old windmill mechanisms to see, lovely garden (kids playground). Restaurant food was good and local champagne was a must. The room was really clean, great water pressure in a refurbed bathroom and slept so well in a very comfy bed!

My favourite hotel to stay travelling in champagne - lovely location in a small village, excellent dinner and good breakfast choice. Clean, comfortable room with balcony overlooking the gardens and mill stream.

Mildly irritating to have to go back to reception to get the Wi-Fi code as there was nothing in the room and it wasn’t offered at check in.

We were hiking on the Via Francigena. The hotel was very close to the trail which was why we chose it. The staff was very nice and accomodating. Bonus: We had an excellent meal at their restaurant - highly recommended. Breakfast was also outstanding. They also have a nice garden to stroll through. We were well rested, fed, and ready for the next leg of our hike.

We've stayed here a few times over the years and it is always perfect for us. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom. A large garden in which our dog can have a goid run. Not too far from the motorway. The hotel is very quiet. A bonus is the tea and coffee facilities in our room which you don't often get in France.

Near to Nigloland amusement park, so could hear kids having fun, but very quiet in the evening and night. Beautiful garden. Comfortable quiet room, efficient quiet air conditioning. Room not spacious but big enough. And fridge provided for traveller's picnics. Dog friendly, only 5 euros exta and allowed into restaurant with us. Excellent food. In quiet village. Plenty of parking. This was a travelling stop over for us and was just about perfect. 🙂👍

Excellent location, food and staff. Comfortable, clean room.

Extensive renovation work being done and not all facilities open e.g. Spa. We were not told about this in advance, but we stayed very early in the season....and hotel and car park now look very smart!
