This is a private house, in the UK it would be called an upmarket B&B, it is not a hotel. The evening meal table de hote was excellent and well worth booking. The breakfast was equally good, whatever we wanted was no problem. We ate the evening meal at a shared table with German guests and had a lovely time. We also enjoyed an international match on the pool table.

We had some trouble finding it as our satnav took us close and said " you have arrived", but we couldn't see it. There is actually a large sign over the garage but we couldn't see this from inside the car. Perhaps a sign on the gate at driver eye level would be good.

welcoming atmosphere. Family had made excellent use of space and everything seemed very new and well thought out. Lovely to arrive and be able to jump straight in the pool. Honesty bar full of lovely drinks. Early breakfast provided with no fuss (and was beautiful) as we were worried about travel time to the ferry. Lovely dinner outside, very French and very tasty.

Room was a little hot overnight despite following instructions with the air con but my sister and her husband in another room had no problem so maybe just us. Were slightly worried about the tightness of the parking but actually worked out fine and was extremely secure.

Lovely place to stay so close to drive into Troyes. The decor, the pool, the owners, the breakfast, the complimentary teas and coffee next to the pool table upstairs. Plus, the a/C in our room. 38° outside in Fr ( heat dome) early July 2025. Lots of books to browse, just a chilled couple of nights before driving back to UK from Switzerland. We stopped here on our way to the Alps and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel was spotless. Our bedroom was very comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep. The secure parking gave us peace of mind, and the homemade breakfast was absolutely excellent, fresh, delicious, and a perfect start to the day. Highly recommend this place for a stopover or even a longer stay!

Lovely house, spacious , nicely furnished and decorated. Great location with safe parking on site. Nice outside area with pool, sunbeds, garden. Bedroom clean, bright and airy. Great breakfast, very nice hosts. Highly reccomended. Short and easy drive to some nice local restaurants or into Troyes. You can also pre book to eat in at the villa.

All was very nice. Although in our room there was very little space available to hang up clothes. No problem for us since only there a couple of nights.

So conveniently close to the A26 but situated really nicely in a lovely French countryside village with great inclusions of locally produced food and wines and of course the local champagnes. Anne-Lise & Philippe were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome in their beautifully appointed guest house. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 course dinner in the evening. Everything was cooked to perfection and my mouth is watering at the thought of it all over again. We chose a delicious red wine from a local vineyard which went perfectly with dinner. Breakfast was served with homemade jams, pastries & bread, scrambled eggs and bacon, locally produced yoghurt and homemade granola, and we could have also had crepes and cheese if we wanted. Anne-Lise also prepared us a picnic for our journey back to England. Can’t wait to tuck into her wonderful delights. We can’t thank them enough for a wonderful end to our little 3 week holiday in France.

Nothing, it was all so wonderful.

We had a lovely welcome from the owners. We had a fabulous evening meal which was very good value and a delicious breakfast which is included. Our room was well equipped, even had an aromatherapy shower, and a very comfortable bed. It is an excellent stop over spot close to the motorway and Troyes, which is a lovely town to visit. We will definitely be back, possibly in the summer to enjoy the pool.

Very warmly greeted on arrival. Superbly presented property. Spotlessly clean. The bedroom was brilliant with wooden beams, a large soft bed and loads of room. Bathroom was great with a large shower. Home produced food on the terrace overlooking the pool was excellent. Our hosts Véronique and Carole were so friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay here - even though just for one night as travelling onwards the next day. Looking forward to staying again in 4 weeks.

Exceptional food,fresh and innovative with great thought and presentation. Lovely hosts multilingual and helpful Many small extra touches,well stocked honesty bar with good drink selection local delicacies and complimentary tea and coffee area. Room spacious and nicely decorated ,traditional but modernised and uncluttered. Good peaceful situation in a small village but close to beautiful Troyes and outlet malls

This place is wow! The rooms are fabulous with ‘spa’ showers! Anne-Lise and Philippe were amazing hosts and the food was fabulous. I only wished we were staying longer as the pool and the quiet location were perfect for relaxing. The beds are so comfortable and the air con meant we slept so well. I would definitely come back and visit again - it’s just perfect and the private parking was very secure.

There’s nothing to not like - it’s just fabulous - you actually feel like family.
