Absolutely lovely hotel ! Loved our room so comfortable and stunning bathroom . Bed and pillows were first class. Lovely bar lounge downstairs - delicious food and staff are brilliant. We enjoyed a relaxing evening listening to to a great jazz performance !

The hotel itself was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was live music in the Bar, which was exceptional !!!

The breakfast wasn't great. The only hot dishes on offer were sausages ( which were very poor and cold), bacon, and scrambled egg(which was almost cold.).

Luxurious without trying too hard Picturesque location near a calming canal Beautiful, elegant rooms with catching design and structural ideas such the black on black bathroom with the semi-circle doors. Efficient, polite, impeccable staff who helped at every turn from valet to spa bookings Welcoming, grand, stylish car park and frontage with a good number of parking spaces. Car park with good lighting which turn off at midnight Large bedroom with very comfortable bed and pillows with great view of car park Fantastic one level swimming pool and large sauna Great location close to restaurant parade but far enough for a peaceful sleep

Swimming pool and spa has to be booked quite a few hours in advance Breakfast options were limited Car park area at the front felt unsecure with people walking off the street to look and take pictures of car till the early hours of the morning (Fête de la Musique night). Front gates should have been closed at midnight when lights were switched off Reception insisted on keeping car keys. As a very forgetful person I had to continuously ask for my keys to get into my car Took almost 1 hour to get 2 scoops of ice cream from room service and was melting when delivered

Everything great

Only person who didn't great was the lady manager I believe. I requested an iron for a shirt before going for dinner, although was told it was done, it never arrived. Very poor organisation at breakfast, 95% of the tables were not cleaned or redressed and very messy. Seems they a bit short of staff, Vincent and Thierry are great at the desk. The bearded gentleman at the bar was very good and courteous too. Spa could do with oils to enjoy the steam room and sauna, and bubbles didn't seem to work in pool if that was supposed too

A very impressive looking hotel in a great location.

Some of the staff were incredible and went beyond what would be expected including the two fabulous concierge gentlemen who parked our car and returned it. The barman seemed uninterested in serving us and the two ladies in the spa were unbelievably rude and were determined not to let us use the swimming pool, even though there were only two other people using the facilities at the time. Perhaps they could benefit from some customer service training from the two concierge gentlemen.

Excellent location and beautiful setting. Very convenient parking which was essential as this was a stop off. Service excellent throughout and at every interaction. On arrival we were allocated a room that smelt unpleasant - we were given a new room immediately without fuss. Particular note on the bar - nice atmosphere, superb measures and an excellent wine list. Much better value than Grand Hotel Le Cloche (where we stayed on the way down) and better quality too. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Breakfast excellent too.

In general, the stay was enjoyable. While the spa is somewhat small, the reservation system effectively manages the crowd. The beds are notably comfortable, and the staff worked diligently to meet our needs and provide solutions.

The housekeeping service was somewhat sluggish, with the room not being attended to until 5 pm. It was only cleaned after I brought this to the attention of the reception. The bar has a pleasant ambiance, but their signature cocktails could use improvement; however, they excel at the classic ones. Unfortunately, the restaurant service is almost non-existent, a surprising drawback for a 5-star hotel. Even for a light snack, specific hours must be adhered to (e.g., no appetizers available at 6 pm, as they are served after 7 pm). Basic items like charcuterie and cheese should always be accessible, requiring only a minimal kitchen setup.

Location and on site parking. Welcome desk excellent with good understanding of English Cleanliness excellent

Spa Wellness did not meet expectations. Pool was small and entry and exit was dangerous due to no hold rails so absolutely a no go for older people Bar was expensive with Chablis at 16 Euros for a 100mm glass and it was on tap, not from a bottle until we challenged that Breakfast at 25 Euros not good value We were not told the restaurant would not be fully open and so went out but that said would probably not have paid the prices Rooms not made up after night 1 which is poor for a 4 Star Hotel let alone a 5 Star and even when challenged only got clean towels with no tidy up or clean Checkout was poor as they mixed up charges to the two rooms we had 007 and 008 s we had to make adjustments between ourselves when we got home When fully open it may meet expectations but for now !

A beautifully renovated historic building right next to the city centre. We were looking for a stay over during our trip to Southern Europe. Troyes is a beautiful town and easy to access from the highway. The hotel offers secure parking, which is also a great plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good size, clean, comfortable, and pleasant. I also very much enjoyed the bar. The city centre is a five minute's walk from the hotel and certainly a not to miss.

The breakfast could possibly include a few more choices. While certainly not displeased, I would have expected a bit more from a hotel of this standing.

Nice over all atmosphere, friendly staff, good location to city center. The room looked great (applause for the design 👏🏻) and the bedlinnen was fantastic.

The lobby was a bit too clean/cold looking in my opinion. A bit more warmth in the design would have made it picture perfect. The bathroom was a bit too dark (tiles and lighting) and I missed small washcloths and some necessities you usually get in the hotels in this price range. I also didn’t quite understand why our car needed to go in the payed parking garage as there was a parking lot in front of the hotel.
