Perfect location in the old historic center Good garage with possibility to recharge my Tesla. The room was in a the front part very authentic. It gets more and more difficult to find a hotel where pets are all allowed. Booking.com does this subject very unclear. Pets are allowed surcharge May be applicable. Make it clear what I have to pay extra. Or pets on request then only small dogs are allowed. This hotel did not charge extra very good.
to have a shower in the bath tube it is dangerous for falling. For the rest I liked everything. The price was a little high but not to much

The great selling point for this property is its location. Literally a three minute walk from the central square ( and tourist information office) it was perfectly sited to allow enjoyment of the city on foot. Bustling restaurants and bars a few steps from the hotel, this suited us very well indeed.
Unfortunately, on arrival, we were advised that the hotel parking was full and we were directed to a public car park three and a half minutes walk from the hotel. Whilst not burdensome, it would have been ideal to park at the property. Having said that, the ancient and narrow streets around the hotel do not lend themselves to a large vehicle! The room was adequate but unsurprisingly quite cramped (to be expected in a very old building). It was clean but the shower room was a. little “tired”. Whilst we were delightfully greeted on arrival, the subsequent desk staff were not quite as helpful. This was a minor point.

Troyes old town is stunning and this hotel adds to that being a beautiful quirky old design. It may be due an internal refurbish soon but don't let that put you off. It has everything you need. All the staff were excellent, so friendly. It's location is a short walk to all the restaurants and bars in the old town and there is (limited) parking on site if you book early. Breakfast was good.
My only criticism would be the size of the breakfast room. If a refurbishment is due then enlarging the breakfast room should be the main improvement. Other than a decorative refresh, the rest of the hotel is fine.

Picturesque location with restaurants and bars nearby. Very helpful staff, thanks for your help. Excellent secure, off street parking for my classic sportscar but only limited spaces, so do book in advance via reception.
The whole hotel was in need of redecoration, but the theme was fun if somewhat worn out. Very little hot water in the morning, but was OK in the evening. Very small bathroom with almost no room to sit on the toilet. No air conditioning, but a fan was supplied, so thank you for this detail, it did help.

During our journey across France, we had the pleasure of staying at Brit Hotel, a hidden gem that truly exceeded our expectations. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the receptionist, Julian. Upon our arrival, we encountered an unexpected issue with our car. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, we approached the reception desk, and that’s when Julian came to our rescue. His ability to communicate in multiple languages made us feel immediately at ease, and his friendly demeanor was incredibly reassuring. Julian went above and beyond to assist us, personally ensuring that our car issue was resolved swiftly, allowing us to continue our journey without delay. His dedication and genuine care were truly remarkable. The room we stayed in was comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a perfect retreat after a long day of travel. The attention to detail in the room's setup and the cleanliness were impressive, adding to the overall positive experience.

Right in the centre of the old town. An historic building in itself. Staff were very helpful. Pierre on reception gave us three suggestions where to eat; the Felix and the Tablier. Both good. Breakfast had good choices. Room was spacious (we were in the annex which was right opposite). If you can’t get a parking space in the hotels courtyard the public car park is only 5 mins walk away and cost €10.60 for two nights stay.
The most annoying thing was the movement sensitive lights in the toilet in Room 43. There wasn’t a window in the toilet so you needed electric light but the light went off very quickly and if you were sitting down you were out of range to turn it on by moving! Too much info I know but very annoying. There isn’t a lift in the hotel and the stairs in the annex are quite steep; so difficult for those with mobility issues. Also there were two rather high steps to get into room 43; a grab handle would have been useful.

The hotel is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the centre. The car parking was very useful and, it appears, a rarity near the centre of this historic city. The staff were very helpful both online prior to our arrival and in person. All the staff we encountered couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was basic but a good size and the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast offering was varied and a good quality continental with fresh scrambled eggs and bacon too! I'd recommend this as a great value start to the day. Good use was being made of the freshly squeezed orange juice machine. We even bought some of the local honey as it was so tasty. We were quite tired in the evenings of our 2 night stay so didn't make use of the small bar area but it looked cosy and welcoming with Leffe beer and wines on offer.
Our ground floor windows opened straight on to the pavement so we couldn't open them much and had to close them fully overnight. Was useful when chatting to local residents enjoying their regular street get-together though! We were in a twin room in a separate part of the hotel on the other side of the road directly opposite the main hotel building adjacent to the gated car park area. It did mean, however, that we could go back and forth to our car easily to retrieve bits and bobs as we needed.

Location is great, right in the historic town centre of Troyes. The whole town was a nice surprise. We only stopped here to spend a night but we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of this town.
Unfortunately we didn't make to the nice old main building of the hotel. We had a room at the opposite side of the road which looked more like a massage parlour rather than a hotel room. Had the smallest double bed imaginable but hey... We had a great time in this really beautiful town and the room was only a place to sleep.

Very old historic buiding in the centre of town and a 5 minute walk from the main station. Lack of elevator was a possible problem for a second floor room but it was also a very old staircase built in quite small sections, so not too arduous. Excellent selection of eateries within a 7/8 minute walk. We had a good breakfast with a wide selection. Due to the age of the hotel the rooms are quirky but the designers have worked cleverly with the difficulties presented and this did not cause us any issues. Ber sure to reserve parking as there are not many spaces.
Durting our stay it rained quite heavily and the effect on the atrium roof was a bit noisy. There isn't a solution.

We stopped here for a Sunday overnight going south and it was ideal. Parking next to hotel so we could walk 5 minutes to the centre where lots of decent restaurants and bars open even on Sunday evening. Only issue was that the room (4) was very small but it didn't really matter for good night's sleep before the next drive. Thoroughly recommend but if you're staying in Troyes for a bit ask for one the larger rooms.
