This is a great option for an overnight stay when splitting up a long journey to Germany. The location is great with a ten minute walk into the town. If you want secure parking then you'll need to pay an extra €12 but the underground carpark is easy to access. The aircon was a great bonus on the very hot day we stayed. The staff were also very kind and friendly.

The breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was. The bathroom was a bit basic and not soundproof in the slightest.

As far as the ibis chain goes this is the best one we’ve stayed in. The bathroom was larger than their standard and the breakfast was terrific. It’s a little further way from old town than we'd usually stay but not so far that its a problem for a couple of 70 year olds.

The staff is busy so reception is sometimes unattended but they always managed to help us with what we needed. That isn’t meant as a 'negative', it’s just something to be aware of.

Decent place not far away from the center with very good value for money ratio. Enough space for parking. With two kids we got rooms in the area where noise from our kids wouldn't bother others and still close to the reception. That was a big help.

Nothing big - the confirmation email mentioned that parking lot can accomodate cars up to 1,8m. That wasn't on the hotel page and came only after we booked our stay. And actually it wasn't correct. Our car (a van) was higher (1,9m) and still there were plenty of lots to part the car in (yes, there were some where only smaller cars could park).

This hotel is conveniently located, about 10 minute walk from the historical city center. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and an extra space for the baby cot. They provide a very nice breakfast too. Overall the ration of quality/price is good, plus the reception is open 24/7.

Not sure why they don't include the tourism tax in their original price, which is just a couple of euros but would have been easier to check out quicker. I've specified that we were travelling with a baby so didn't really need an extra single bed in the room since we were bringing a cot. The babies at that age can't use normal beds.

On Motor cycle so parked free IN Car Park opposite Lady on reception was very good at her job lovely welcome very helpfull and spoke English Beds were very comfy shower was excellent

A good little spot in the middle of town, near to a steak house and a lovely real beer bar. Parking was secure as it was under the hotel, but cost extra. Super friendly and helpful staff. It was quiet and comfortable.

12 euros to park seemed expensive, especially as we stayed in another, rival, hotel on the way home and it was free. Check you are at the right Ibis.....there are two on the same street! A real bed, rather than a fold out, would be nice as a third bed.

The bed was so comfortable, needed extra pillows because of leg injury and they were deliveryed promptly. Bar was good, reception staff were working the bar but managed ok. Staff really friendly and helpful. The location is incredible to the town centre. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend. Also there is a car park but staff helpfully directed us to free parking at the weekend, which is really nice we thought.

Underground parking was brilliant and a bonus as we had a Thule attached and it would have been a nightmare to unattach . The area was a bit rough so couldn’t leave out on road . Breakfast was delicious

Area a bit run down and didn’t really see the pleasant part of Troyes . Prefer more rural but that’s not ibis’ fault . Air con not great in breakfast area .

Location easy to walk into old town good selection of resturants, Christmas lights and Secure Parking. Ideal halfway stop for the Alps. Breakfast buffet was pretty good.

To be really picky, Bed was a bit too firm. No Ketchup or Brown sauces in Breakfast Buffet. Plastic ensuite Shower room has no sound proofing,

Fabulous location, 5 minutes walk from town centre and all the beautiful little streets and crooked houses. Very spacious hotel room (bigger than other Ibis hotels we have stayed in), nice and comfy bed, good facilities (including tea and coffee at discretion in Reception area), friendly staff, easy to find and to park (underground parking way more spacious than expected and easy to get in and out. Note for parking, you will firstly need to go at reception and get the code to be granted access). Another big plus for us is being a dog friendly hotel (our dog was even allowed to join us for breakfast x)
