Good location with the proximity to the Lac d’Orient being a very short drive away and around a 20/30 minute walk. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean with good facilities and nice soft towels. The staff at the hotel were welcoming. Maxim, the Manager, was always very friendly, helpful and professional. We ate in the restaurant on one of the evenings that we stayed and had a delicious dinner and were served by a very professional, efficient and friendly lady (unfortunately we didn’t get her name). Both mornings of our stay we had a good breakfast at the hotel and again the young man in the breakfast room was always friendly.

The room was quite warm and the air conditioning didn’t seem to have much effect in keeping the room cooler.

- The General Manager was extremely helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. - The building was lovely and like one of the old traditional Logis from the outside. - The location was very good for a convenient stop over through France and was quite near (but not on) a large reservoir which is very popular with holiday makers from all over though more for families than elderly couples I think. - The bed and bed linen was very comfortable.

- The restaurant was beautifully appointed but the pictures in the dining room don't really suit the traditional look of the restaurant. Although they are aiming for a 'fine dining' experience I think some lower price options would be more appealing for clients in general. A bit more like the traditional Logis. - I think the hotel is in a period of transition and need to find its identity. One thing we didn't like was seeing a couple of cyclists wheeling their bicyles along the corridors to their rooms. Perhaps there needs to be some secure bicycle storage at the hotel. - The pool area is quite small and needs some attention.

Location. Great overnight stop as not far off A26 near Troyes so breaks journey nicely between Calais & Morzine. It’s a 5min walk to the huge Lac D’Orient which has a 20mile circuit you can walk/run/cycle. Great for stretching legs. Restaurant: excellent value for money, food is a cut above what you’ll find elsewhere. This trip we had cod with the most delicious lemon beurre blanc sauce. Open on a Monday night which is rare! Room: we were on the ground floor, large room & bathroom looked recently refitted, done very nicely. Bed was comfy - but pillows were far too soft. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Spa: free use of the facilities so worth making time to mKe use of them.

The hotel is located in a pretty French village. It looked perfect from the outside, and as I was to find out, perfect inside. We were the only guests. The chef, a very pleasant gentleman, provided a wonderful veggie meal. The receptionists were truly nice people. The bed was so comfortable.

I've never paid as much for a hotel as here. But I did have a dog with me. No regrets it was a pleasure to experience such luxury.

There were mistake room hand over and personnel correct mistake immediately with good co-operation and friendly manner! Excellent restaurant and vast and excellent selection of vines from all regions of France. Lot of pleasure for eyes and appetite!

They have noise isolated rooms next to street so select always view to patio or swimming pool to avoid street view! 😉

This is a modern hotel with some character. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with two small dachshunds and they were made welcome. The dinner in the evening was quite special and well presented. At breakfast, there was a good variety and choice. All in all, a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay.

Very friendly hotel with good facilities in the room. definite choice for a stopover driving from UK through France. nice walk along the lake path and although the restaurant was closed the bistro served a lovely meal.

Bar had no wine available for aperitif but the owner very kindly helped us by making an exception. TV didn't come on but we didn't miss it, reception was closed to ask but we weren't bothered anyway.

The facilities of the place are extensive (pool, spa etc...) and of good quality. I was surprised of that for a 3 star hotel to have all the benefits of a 4 star place The new owners fixed little problems rapidly and with a smile

Everything was great. Nice room comfortable bed.very clean. The staff were welcoming. The location was excellent as it is about a 5min walk to the National Park The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was too.

The room was lovely and so was the food.

Our room was in another building down the road. It wasn't far but it was raining and very windy so had to drive. The restaurant in the main hotel is rather expensive and not much of a selection for kids. The restaurant in the building we were has more of a selection and was affordable, but it doesn't open on Tuesdays, which is when we were there.
