Room was very spacious and well decorated. NUXE products in bathroom were a verg welcome surprise. Staff were friendly and the hotel itself was genuinely beautiful especially the garden. Shame we missed the welcome drink there was a sign but the barmaid didnt bring our attention to it and we missed it until too late(our fault).the hippopotam restaurant adjoining the hotel (i understand in partnership) was very good and offered a great selection for kids and adults.

Doesnt have a pool. Not a big deal but its the thing that would have made the experience perfect. Also there was no available parking when we arrived and so we had to use public parking. There is one very near to the hotel though (just around the corner) and it was very cheap so not really a big issue. Its a bit far from the centre so perhaps not the best for those not willing to make a 20 minute walk although this wasnt a big problem.

Location from motorway and easy to find. Central location in town. Secure parking with generous sized spaces. The interior of this hotel is simply beautiful and a pleasure to sit and enjoy a drink. Now onto the staff who in my opinion are simply awesome. Helpful, friendly and not over the top. People I had contact with all spoke English. The rooms are superb and we only had the classic room. Bathroom and shower were excellent. I will plan future trips to the South of France to ensure I stay here again. Breakfast is great and plenty of choice. Did I mention how nice the staff are? Very highly recommend this hotel.

No evening meals available and we went next door to a Hippopotamus restaurant and can only say it was rubbish.

Able to reserve parking in advance, with garage easily accessed. Hotel is beautifully decorated and we had two interconnecting rooms which were both of a large size. The breakfast was delicious - plentiful and varied. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is a very easy walk to the centre.

Two very small issues: There was a very cheap, plastic style mattress protector, which reduced sleep quality. It would have been good to have more than one sachet of coffee in each room. I am sure, had we asked, more could have been provided but for the cost, I would expect there to be more than one.

The hotel is stunning, contemporary with a homely edge, neutral throughout and a considered design aesthetic. Rooms are big, bathrooms are brand new, feels luxurious - we were extremely impressed. Nuxe shampoo and soaps in your bathroom are a lovely touch. Staff are helpful and friendly and the chap on the champagne bar is brilliant! Very quick walk to the centre of town from the hotel. We did the paid parking and highly recommend especially if you want to leave luggage in the car for ease of conscience. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we wished we stayed longer than 1 night!

Central location with secure underground parking for our motorcycles. The hotel looks like it's been recently refurbished and is of a very high standard. The room was huge and the bathroom was a decent size. The bar area was in the lobby and had access to a fantastic courtyard. There was an adjoining steak house that gave a 10% discount to Secure residents which was a bonus as the food was amazing. Breakfast in the morning was of a good selection and very tasty.

The shower head had a tendency to slip and twist round meaning that it was easier to hold the shower. Minor inconvenience in an otherwise lovely hotel.

One of the best hotels in the chain. It is very close to the old center. The room is very spacious, elegant and clean, we had a little upgrade. Comfortable bed and a huge dressing. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a cabin, with my favorite Nuxe quality products and a Nespresso coffee machine. They also have bathrobes and slippers, although I didn't use them because the room was carpeted, I appreciated the attention to detail. They don't have a restaurant, but next to the hotel is a grillhouse with excellent steaks. I think Laura, from what I remember, from the reception, was very kind and helpful. A place where I will definitely return!

Breakfast was excellent - amazing choice on offer ! Rooms were lovely and hotel was within easy walk for restaurants and the old town.

The shower floor was very slippery after use and my wife nearly took a severe fall but caught the handrail in time. You had to check in first before you could park your car in the underground car park (access via room card). No issue except the local council have closed off the access road beside the hotel so you have to park in 'no-parking' zone to check in !! Not the hotel's fault but not ideal.

The rooms have recently been refurbished top a high standard. We had a large room with a big bed and lovely bathroom. The secure underground car park is a big plus.

The refurbished rooms no longer have a fridge as standard, we would have had to have upgraded to get a fridge. When you're on a journey which is going to take days it's always good to have a fridge in your room and we were disappointed to find this was no longer the case. The second point is that yes the hotel is pet friendly, but not as pet friendly as it used to be. When we first started visiting this hotel dogs got a little goodie bag when they arrived, and there were dog bowls in the room and signs to hang off the door showing that a dog was in the room. That's no longer the case, and it seems that dogs are accepted rather than welcomed, a subtle difference.

Really welcoming and friendly staff. Good choice at breakfast including very fresh fruit. New hotel so everything is modern and works plus the room was a good size and was well appointed. Plenty of room for us and our quite large dog. Decor throughout is international nato standard but perfectly comfortable. Temperature regulation was easy so not over hot as many hotels are. Short walk into the centre of town for restaurants etc. Good secure parking which wasn’t too cramped so could park our long estate relatively easily.

You could help more with parking. The information received was good but could I suggest maybe a photo of where the key pad is as it is not near the door and me and a few others drove past the keypad. Also send the pincode for the car park by text as it is much faster to retrieve than going into the booking.com app to get to your messages.
